2) Lukas Konecny KO6 Matthew Hall, body punches to punish Hall and beautiful 1-2 to finish the job
3) Nathan Cleverly TKO10 Karu Murat, great fight! One-sided yet competitive, Cleverly just too accurate, too powerful, too good. Ref stopped it at the beginning of R10
4) Kell Brook TKO5 Michael Jennings, after slow first rounds with Brook in control, Kell opens up a cut with a left uppercut and the doctor stops it
5) Dereck Chisora TKO9 Sam Sexton, sloppy but good HW action with Chisora getting the better of it and stopping Sexton on his feet in R9
6) Alexander Frenkel KO7 Enzo Maccarinelli. Frenkel just finished Maccarinelli's career with a brutal left hook, let's just hope he's okay and can live a healthy post-boxing life!
7) Matthew Macklin TKO6 Shalva Jomardashvili. Macklin did the job vs. a low-level late sub, and while won easily to an opponent retirement, I expected something more spectacular. Bit of an underperformer as a main even, but then again, he fought a late sub

Great card overall, high drama, different styles and divisions, upsets, wars, and a brutal (too brutal) knockout.

Even R3, could go to Hall but dominant R4 by Konecny, great body work surely to pay off later. Konecny ahead 39-37

 

Degale was outclassing Dilks, switich hitting, the whole lot. Then backed him into the ropes, through a good few punches, overwhelmed Dilks but the majority were caught on the gloves. Still, the referee stopped it and Dilks did not complain.

 

Konecy is working Matthew hall now.

R5 same from Konecny and finishes the job in R6. He sends down Hall with a barrage of well-mixed head and body blows and closes the show with a 1-2 for the count. Konecny wins by KO6

 

Well, I enjoyed that one while it lasted...great clash of styles.
