Well answer the other questions I asked.

You are being very stubborn in seeing salsanchez's side of the argument which was very well presented.

Well you said yourself that Sugar Rays achievements are amazing even if they are slightly less than Greb, etc, etc

So that added with Hd 2 Hd, makes him my number 1

Robinson is unquestionably great at 160, so if you also see him as the very best at 160, #1 seems a natural enough spot to me.

They are great, but without H2H that you are using to rate your Middleweights, which is excluding Greb who is the subject of this thread.

Who do you think has better Middleweight achievements Greb or Robinson?

    Undoubtedly.

    Thanks McGrain :good

I'm not saying Robinson's whups everybody's ass easy and that no one can compare,

But that he would be my pick as the best theirs ever been at welter or middle.

    Boxrec.

Remember I was trying to track down 'Oakland' Billy Smith. I have a feeling I have made a major breakthrough. I'll explain if my lead is positive and hopefully I will find out about Smith's post boxing life whether from himself or freinds/family.

found his religon and it turns out he was a devout Presbyterian, so I have contacted all the Presbyterian churches in Atlantic City, so hopefully he was a member of one of the churches or his family was. I think it might be the breakthrough. Hopefully.

The stories he could tell would keep anyone entertained for hours, his story needs to be told IMO.

Even if you take out Hd 2 Hd, Robinson still has a case for achievements, I already mentioned him beating LaMotta while weighing in under the welterweight limit 8 years before he even moved up to middle, before his first retirement his record was 132 -3 -2 ,

the only middles he lost to were Jake and Randy both revenged,

Then comes out of 3 year retirement, and gets wins over Olsen, Basilio and Fullmer, all while well past his best, these wins coming at the ages 35 and 37

    :lol::lol:

It turns out Billy Smith was actually pretty dedicated to training, I thought he could be abit of a slacker but maybe not.

Thats no problem, his record's great too.

And I was'nt being unfair to Sal, I was just defending Robinson from what I think is unfair criticism for losse's after he had come back from a 3 year lay off and was at the ages of 35 - 36 and over 40 when them losse's accured.
