    Bummer.. I use to box at the San Juan gym alongside Escalante when I was a kid, he was a few years older. Sucks when you know someone personally that damn near gets there face knocked off like that on PPV.

    To put it in perspective - it does suck for Escalante and sets his career back, but his health probably shouldn't be in jeopardy.

    that's the thing, never got the hate people have on him.. since he always comes to fight, and always is in a exciting match. Have you ever seen a Litzau fight that sucked? Nope.
