if you knew about boxing or either fighters history you would know rios destroys ortiz

rios and ortiz grew up together training under legendary coach roberto grandpa garcia, ortiz was a disrespectful ****er who couldn't handle grandpa's strict attitude he used to quit in sparring, he was an uncontrollable punk who was a bully at school as confirmed by his teachers.

ortiz and grandpa had a fall out and ortiz started training with grandpas brother danny who's probably the 4th best coach in the family, grandpa garcia predicted ortiz giving up when fighting someone who doesn't give a ****...

what did ortiz do when maidana hit him hard?

he said he's too young to be hit like that

what did rios do when lowblowed by peterson?

    nothing he just fought on.

That may be all true but but this is the pros and ORtiz is much more seasoned than Rios with more experience. ORtiz is tough i agree but he hasn't been tested yet so we dont know wsup with him.. Stylistically, i dont see him beating Ortiz, he's too straightforward.. SO Ortiz has a hiccup against Maidana but it can happen to any young fighter under pressure.

ortiz has been tested vs maidana and he failed
he didn't even tried, he admitted to quiting and gave the excuse that he's too young to get hit like that

maidana is a crude slugger with no technique.

and by the way its not just the amateurs, ortiz trained with rios and grandpa early in his pro career too.

Its a tough call. On one hand, we still dont know how good Brandon's chin is. Ortiz hits ALOT harder than Peterson, and is bigger. But on the the other hand, Rios brings ALOT more to the table than shot versions of Antonio Diaz, Campbell, and Harris did. My head says Ortiz, but if Rios can drag him into a dog fight, he's got a chance to make Vic's heart give out again.

I'd loooveee to see the fight down the line, but not just yet. At least let Rios beat up Soto first, and get himself a belt. That would make the fight more attractive.
