Saul looks like he's trying to get in the rounds. Not nearly as aggressive as I've seen him in the few televised fights of his. Just jabbing, moving, occasionally leaps in with a left hook or lead right.

I think so, but it looks like Frenkel fired off 3 punches pretty damn fast, maybe too fast for the ref to jump in. I just watched it again and I caught them rolling Enzo onto his side as he looked like a zombie.. I wish him the best, and maybe he should hang them up. I saw him knocked out on the Khan/Barerra PPV, and that was upsetting aswell.

Did anyone catch Alvarez getting rocked by Cotto's brother? I guess I missed that part of the fight. Was he really out on his feet?

    Round 4

Alvarez pops and turns, favoring the 1-2. Tata is trying in vain to swarm him by wading in with busy hands and ALVAREZ STUNS HIM WITH A CROSS! Baldomir waves his fist, and Alvarez then catches him with a very clean left hook.

    40-36 Alvarez

He was nearly out on his feet against the ropes, kind of like Ike Quartey in the DLH fight 12th round. I've seen fights that like stopped tons of times, but Canelo weathered the storm.

Alvarez was definitely hurt by Cotto early, and a better fighter with more pop probably would have at least put him down if he had him hurt that badly, but out on his feet is a stretch. He recovered well and progressively took over the fight.

Nah - whoever said that was exaggerating. He got caught crisply by a cagey vet. His chin doesn't really worry me.

Alvarez not nearly as active as he should be. Giving Tata too much respect.
