Fenech is a goose but he does have a point. I just finished reading the Lewis biography and he makes out like he could do no wrong and whilst it was a great book it portays Fenech and Tszyu as bad guys at times and I'm sure there is more to it than is said in the book.
when fenech says this.. ' you know his talking out of his azz! he was a kid who knew nothing, lewis taught him everything, he even says so himself.
Fenech seems to only be capable of rating people close friends or bitter enemies - there's no middle ground. While he rated Lewis in the former category he was very honest about what Johnny had done for him - ie given him a life and saved him from a jail term. Now that they've had yet another fallout, Fenech's ego won't allow him that honesty.
I lost a bit of respect when Johnny said on live TV kids that want to box shoild go play footy! Who is Johnny Lewis without boxing!

You look at all the people in Fenechs corner during his fight career are now distant enemies to the wanker. All have a common dominator which is dear ol Jeff himself. Post Nelson Fenech was & always has been a sour, self consumed wanker.
Quite true, he dogged Green by joining the Tyson circus, did the same to Vic left him in the USA with no trainer Vic had to hire some Mexican dude while Billy Hussein jumped on a plane, then Fenech turns up fight night wanting to be in the corner to get his percentage of the purse but Vic told him to **** off.
id rather see, all aussie ex world champs, become ****s as big as fenech, than bums as low as harding. all im saying, is fenech is one ......one of the few, that lived to become himself. les darcy, my hero, the man, boy i look up to as our greatest fighter, perhaps the greatest ever fighter, made one mistake. and he was slandered for it. You wil probably notice he won't ever bad mouth Vic, he knows vic wont respond in the media he will just go to Fenechs house and punch portholes in him.
While Fenech is most certainly no angel, Lewis is not the saint he's been made out to be over the years. He's started to show his true self over the last few years in the media with his comments about various boxers. There are always 2 sides to every story, I just think Lewis managed to hide his true personality for longer than most.
Have noticed Lewis changes storis one day to the next, liek advising Green should retire then rode his nuts when he won the WBA belt, and every boxer he trains is gonan be a world beater then they get beat he never mentions them again.

Spot on Shane. Lewis has always hand picked those on the rise, then drops them like a hot rock when they come to a sudden stop. The deadly dollar & its power ruins a lot of friendships in all aspects of life.
