I dont care if im the only man alive who thought mosley won, i still think he won, and quite wide also. im not in a position to debate each round, as i ant rewatched it, nor do i intend to. i did pick mora pre-fight, i expected him to win 8-4 or there abouts. but watching the fight i gave it to shane. he did enough to prove he is still top level to me.
If not even hitting arms with 95% of his punches and leaning on Mora like a fat, exhuasted shadow of his old self is enough to prove to you he is still top level, wel then..erm..fair enough :think
I didn't score it on a round by round basis because the fight was so ugly but I thought Mosley was the effective aggressor and seemed to outland Mora in EVERY round - an observation backed up by compubox whether you believe it or not.
Mosley is what he is. certain styles will always make him look ****. he cant adapt. he performed much better than i thought he would. would prefer to see him vs berto or cotto.
We have to remember Mosley is 39 years old. He is past his best. His people made a huge mistake putting him with a guy like Mora. Mora is a good boxer who makes everybody look bad. Plus he is bigger then a lot bigger then Shane. It was a terrible match-up. Mosley had no chance to look good. Mosley should probably retire. I think he should. But he did enough in this fight to win. But he was far from impressive.

Mora would be penalised by the media for adopting a negative style. They would have made their mind up who was going to win on points before the fight because it was obvious how the contest would unfold. Mosley's aggression was COMPLETELY ineffective and Mora landed the shots that counted. I don't give a **** what the blind mice media say. Scribes have been scoring fights based on who's trying harder to engage since Tito got the nod over Oscar. IT'S TOTAL BULL****! The game is boxing and Mosley was OUTBOXED! End of........
No he wasn't outboxed. He was outrun. Mora did have moments of which he could have won close rounds. But he didn't win more then 5 rounds. Mosley landed more power punches in EVERY round. Plus Mora jab was horsecrap. The best score for Mora I can see after watching it again is 115-113 Mosley. But I still got it 8 to 4 for Mosley. He wanted it more. And Mora didn't do enough.
Most people here watch through a boxing stream yet log on creating threads about robberies. Watch it on a TV and you will be able to score better.
Mosley won that fight. EASILY. Mora won at MOST 3 rounds decisively 5 if you let him "steal" a few. Mora should retire. Mostly is still a live opponent for any WW or average sized 154 pounder.
Mosley won by a couple of rounds. Mora is worthless and didn't want to fight until his corner told him he was losing on tv.
I thought Mosley agression was totally ineffective and Mora was superior in the inside (even when he was against the ropes) and in the outside. Mora was at least landing some clean punches. HBO comentators were only talking ****. They were saying Mosley was landing, but all Shane did was missing most of his punches. Compubox were also bull****.
