agreed :deal yes. you can see marvin hagler vs thomas hearns in there and bob foster vs tiger in there as well. i just like the heavyweights the best haha and i also watched the bouts last night with mosley, ortiz, and valaraz... all below heavyweight. :deal
The heavyweights are ****ing great. Jim Watt's favourite division. It's the forum. It turns you against them. Because it's all people want to talk about...but it's not their fault we're here all the time and they're not.
I loved the 90s Heavyweight scene. Some cracking fights; Holyfield/Bowe, Moorer/Cooper, Cooper/Holyfield, Holyfield/Dokes, Ruddock/Tyson II, Bowe/Golota II, etc.
I like the 40's, 50's, 70's, 80's, 90's. I'll go earlier than the 40's every now and then but that's pretty much it. The only boxer in the hvy's now that I like is Adamek.
I agree but I can't blame him for going up there, better money. Plus he's willing to face the Klitschkos but he's not ready in my honest opinion.
There is an aura with the Heavyweights. It all goes back to the John L saying I can whoop any man. The same doesn't quite apply or have as strong as an effect with MMA and the UFC. But there's still that effect of huge damaging punches that can alter lives when just watching the tapes. A certain, more serious drama not as constant or more active as little men, but more damaging. Like men these big shouldn't be punching each other in the face, it's far too dangerous.
