    HBO are pathetic.

Most biased ignorant ****s in boxing, the majority of them.

This fight, the Alexander-Kotelnik and Berto-Quintana fights made me feel sick.

The Pavlik-Martinez fight was a minor embarrassment too.

lampley, merchant and kellerman, i'm sure would rather call other fights but hey everybody has to make a living, it's not their fault that HBO's fight schedule is shite IMO

Jim Lampley is literally one of the three most intelligent people in Sports media, while the "bang, bang, bang" was the gayest moment of his career, generally he is the best of the best...IMO.

HBO has the most inconsistent commentary of all time

    sometimes it's intentionally/unintentionally hilarious

    sometimes it's good

    sometimes it's awful

honestly showtime's been shitting in their dinner for a while now. i'll take tarver over lampley's bull**** any day. Still like kellerman though.

time for some fresh blood, seems like these guys are so used to being there that they need to insult fighters or make smug jokes to entertain themselves...showtime is much better, their commentators at least provide technical analysis...manny steward does, but his speaking is awful at times...merchant is old and senile, and lampley is just an annoying cheerleader..."hard right hand from mosley", that missed by about a foot.

They kept it 100 and spoke the truth all damn night. One of the only nights in my life that Larry Merchant actually made any sense at all, lol.

I agree it was the funniest in years. larry was really on a roll. his last drawn out joke about how he wanted to do something to his brain that would enable him to forget all about the mosley/mora fight in 24 hours was utterly hilarious
