The Kingpetch thread gave me this idea........

What is the worst decision you've seen to date?

Mine would be Escalera-Everett. So horrifically bad it was painfully obvious it was fixed. There can be no other explanation for it. Absolutely hands down the worst atrocity I've ever had the displeasure to witness. I was trying to be as open minded as I could, and had it 12-3 Everett, and the rounds weren't close.

That was a very bad one.

Roy Jones' gold medal match at the Olympics is the worse I reckon Ive seen.

Yey id have to say this ^^ is the worst ive seen.

I remember watching a fight on ESPN when i was a kid Johnny Carter-DIego Rosario, i know most of you have never seen it but after all these years it stands out.

    In title fights id say Whittaker-Ramirez I, Everret-Escalara,Fenech-Nelson I, Lewis-Holyfield I, Delahoya-Trinidad. And more recently Funeka-Guzman I, Dirreill-Froch.

I am a huge Azumah nelson fan, but the draw he recieved against Fenech (who I knew little about at the time) was horrible! Fenech earned that one.

Camacho getting the win against Mancini who I felt controlled most of the fight is another one.

Hearns getting a draw when he clearly bested Leonard in the 2nd fight.

None of these are likely the worst decision ever, but were IMHO all bad and the first ones that popped into my mind.

One that has always stuck in my craw was Allan Green/Emmet Linton. Terrible decision.

Kid Diamond/Miguel Huerta was another really bad one.

    De La Hoya-Trinidad

    Toney-Tiberi

    Fenech-Nelson 1

    Reid-Ottke (particularly bad)

    Mundine-Soloman 1

Pernell Whitaker's 'loss' to Jose Ramirez. Controversial is a severe understatement.

I'll add a more recent one into the mixer - Devon Alexander vs Andriy Kotelnik 113-118. I can't see how anyone could have scored this fight for Alexander. He was awful.

Ramirez vs Whitaker 1 is a good shout. As is Whitaker vs Chavez. Both clearly wins for Sweet Pea.

Antuofermo vs Hagler was a clear robbery.

I agree with you about the Hagler one. Marvin did allow Vito to come on strong towards the end though.

You got there before me - hands down Ottke getting that decision was just a total stitch up - criminal charges should be brought in the case of that one - it was a total disgrace to boxing and Ottke should be removed from the record books to - he was the biggest sham I have ever seen in boxing bar none - he paraded around as though he genuinely thought he was a boxing great as well - what a delusional fool :lol:
