I haven't seen the fight, but am I to believe that Compubox, the boxing media, the commentators, and most of ESB are all wrong and/or manipulating data and opinions in favor of Mosley? To what end? Why would they?
Mosley threw more and probably landed more but a lot of those punches were arm punches that didn't have that a great of an effect. Mora was landing solid shots that were buzzing Shane and making him stop in his tracks during the middle of his onslaughts. Shane also spent several rounds looking lost as hell in there. He had the same look on his face that he had in the first Winky fight. It wasn't a robbery either way. Nobody really looked impressive. Mora had chances to really put his stamp on the fight and he didn't. Mosley as well. Garbage fights don't deserve all this attention.
Mosley couldn't get his shots off . go listen to what his corner was telling him between rounds .He punched the air when he did throw and got clipped on the way in. Go and watch the fight before you run your mouths. ****.
I was honestly just disappointed in Mosley's poor work rate and his uninspired effort, I thought Mosley was going to lose the decision. But I guess Mora was equally, or possibly more shittier than shane and neither man deserved a win. If you're one of those people who like to troll about Mayweather than I can see them giving Mora a wide decision, just because Shane looked awful.
I'm a Mayweather fan and I said Mosely was **** and Mora shoulda won a wide UD. It has nothing to do with it. I just speak the truth.

Thanks for summarizing that. I too felt that Mosley deserved the close decision because Mora didn't do enough to win the fight despite that it was there for the taking. I really don't have an issue with a draw because both fighters looked like ****.
Neither man deserved to win for that debacle, but if push came to shove then it had to be Mora. Mora was bad, but Mosley was worse. I don't understand how people can have it so lopsided for Mosley, sure he was initiating the fight but he was barely landing anything (and wasn't doing much damage with them either). My inclination towards Mora was his defense was effective and even though his punches didn't have as much pop he was landing them with a higher flush % (especailly off the outside, and on the inside in the later rounds). People forget to factor in defense while judging a fight and frankly Mora's was far more superior (Which isn't saying much). I don't believe those HBO punch stats for a second (Another poster covered how the stats can be manipulated in another thread so I won't go into it). I get the feeling there's a bit of bias going on in favour of Mosley... FYI I'm a big Mosley fan, and this was the first time I've watched Mora fight but I had it 116 - 112 for Mora
lol, well most seem to score for Mosley, on a general scale. Its interesting that there are some who are adamant that Mora clearly won. I guess a Draw came out right for such a subjective fight...
lol spot on, the only consensus I think we all agree on is it was an awful fight to watch. I'm absolutely kicking myself because I missed all the undercards and only caught the main event. Sliding out of bed to watch this on Sunday morning while hungover turned out to be a bad decision
