At 6'6 230 and with that jab Ali would've been easy work for Lewis. Old school fighters had heart but todays fighters are just to big and have too much skills.

    Lennox Lewis - 6ft5, 245lbs
    Muhammed Ali -6ft4, 220lbs

Not exactly that much of a heigh and weight advantage? besides, Ali had much much better handspeed than Lewis, who wasn't that fast.

Ali was probably closer to 6'3 but yeah, the size disparity isn't such that it would be the determining factor.

First of all, stop making ridiculous threads, Hopkins knocking Hagler out was a crazy one. Secondly, Lewis was 6''5, not 6''6. IMO, Ali had the better jab and chin, and was faster of hand and foot.

I keep on hearing this about todays fighters. If anything todays fighter have lesser skills. Nothing like Ali's jab , and if it were a 15 round fight then Ali would take over .

Also remember a prime Lennox fought Holyfield to a draw. Ali was bigger , better chin and better technique than Holyfield.

    Styles make fights.

I'm not directing that at anything specific, just wanted to mention it.

Ali too fast and too good for Lennox, I think a late TKO would occur for Ali

This would be a very difficult fight for Ali due to the styles.

It has nothing to do with boxers today being superior fighters, it's just about styles.

Didn´t you think Frazier would easily beat Wlad Klitschko defending your opinion against all styles make fights arguments?

That's why Frazier would beat Wlad. It's about styles. I think about boxing on a technical level.

Klitschko could cause problems for Ali too, but not on the same level as Lewis who had a more diverse offensive aresnal and didn't predicate his entire fighting style around protecting his chin.

he didn't fight Holyfield to a draw - he was robbed.

But I don't know if he could beat Ali.

Lennox Lewis would have done well in any era, but in the Ali/Frazier/Foreman era he would have been just one more good contender who never held the title.
