Louis was too small to beat Wlad, yet he beat bigger men...

Here is video footage of Louis, easily slipping a guy who is roughly half an inch shorter than Wlad, 10-15 lbs heavier, with a longer reach, and an identical fighting style. The way he moves, the defensive flaws he makes in the ring, his tendency to be clumsy, and the speed of his footwork are about a carbon copy.

As you can see in that video, Louis' style of defense, which allowed him to easily duck or catch straight punches, his great counterpunching, his smaller size, and the speed at which he delivered his punches allowed him to easily knock out Carnera while relatively unscathed.

Here is some other footage of Carnera against an undersized southpaw opponent who is fighting scared, but also at a counterpunching disadvantage given his southpaw style considering his opposition. Carnera in one of the worst performances of his career looked terrible because his opponents defensive style and size gave him fits. He won a decision, but lost fans. And while some of the fault was due to his opponent who had plenty of openings to capitlize and knock his weak chinned opponent out, Carnera was supposed to impress in this fight.

Look at how closely Carnera resembles Klitschko in both his tenativeness, his movement, his style, and his reluctance to engage. He also looks embarassingly bad.

You mean how Marciano ducked underneath Louis's punches, by bending at the waist and getting low?

Is Wlad even capable of bending at the waist?

Wlad would Humiliate that guy with his Left hand alone.

    Wlad by devastating KO.

    Mismatch.

I think its time to start giving the Klits their deserved respect. There size and power would give anybody hell. The only fighter I feel that would beat both is Ali. Louis? No. not enough footwork and head movement.

He showed plenty of head movement in there agianst Carnera. ****, guys like Sultan Ibriganov....(who?)....gave Wlad major fits due to his movement, and you're telling me arguably the greatest heavyweight of all time couldn't give Wlad fits, and potentially knock him out with counterpunching.

We're not talking about a scared Ibrignov who Wladimir looked like a clumsy oaf against, and wasn't able to hurt, and since when did Wlad all of a sudden get some kind of ridiculous chin?

I mean, it's not like he's been knocked down 11 times by bums or anything. Not him. His chin is steel.

So you're telling me the man in those films don't resemble Klitschko in the least bit?

If by "fits" you mean losing pretty much every round.. then okay.

Louis could fight safety first for 12rounds, refuse to open up, and lose a wide UD as well.

What the **** does that prove?

No, I'm not saying that. He does resemble Klitschko sure. But that doesn't mean he was anywhere near as effective as Wlad is with that style....nor did he have the power, the determination or the ring intelligence of Wlad.

First of all, Wlad would fight safety first against Louis who has a reputation as a serious and precise puncher.

Wlad would use his protect his chin at all cost style, and Louis would pressure him intelligently and slip underneath Wlad's jab, and counter him with right hands or left hooks.

Considering Louis' size and style, Wlad would have to bend at the waist to deliver the jab, something his fight with Ibriganov basically proved he was almost incapable of doing, so I have no idea how he would manage to consistantly land on Louis.

Don't let facts get in the way though.
