Leonard / Hearns are bad style matchups for Hopkins. He'd have his best chance against Hagler.

I don't see how Hopkins stops Hearns ..Unless a 160 version of Hopkins fights a 147 lb version of Hearns !! Hopkins has never been known to be a power puncher !

i agree, hops is a great fighter but would have lost to these three greats. duran would have beaten him also.

Sorry but why the **** do we have people saying Hearns didnt have a chin or heart?

He didn't have the chin of a Hagler, Leonard or Duran who he is always compared against because of there era, but by no means did he have a shaky beard.

i agree, hopkins would be too big for hagler and sugar ray leonard, he's even bigger than monzon. the hopkins that destroyed trinidad would be a tough fight for hagler, hearns and leonard and i'd favor him to win

Why doesn't Hopkins get the respect he deserves. Hagler couldn't beat a man that had been out the sport for five years. Hopkins definitely wouldn't let any one that hadn't fought in five years beat him. I agree Hopkins wouldve out smarted Hagler cut em up and work that cut over until the ref stop the fight no way in hell Hagler beats hopkins.Leonarf either after taking five years off Hopkins would have drowned his ass in the later rounds.
