Before the Cotto fight I thought that Margarito would be too much for Pac but things have changed. Cotto who has the same reach as Pac, and was teeing off on Margarito early in their fight. Margarito has no defense, and even though he broke down Cotto, he took too much punishment himself. Mosley further punished Margarito and he's not the same fighter anymore.

Pac will hit him with everything but the kitchen sink and I don't see Margarito standing up to it and stopping Pac later in the fight. You just can't walk straight into Pacquiao and take his punches and expect to wear him down. With Pac's speed and movement, Margarito would have a hard time landing anything clean on Pac to slow him down.

He's not fast enough... They tried to make it interesting by having them fight at 151 for the 154 title but it won't change the obvious outcome.

So why put money for Marg.

I think Pac will win these one but then being Margarito, he could pull a big one on this.

The reason I don't see Margarito winning this fight is that he's a slow starter and starts coming on strong later in fights. In his fight with Clottey, he looked like crap for the first 6 rounds, and same thing when he fought Cotto, and Williams. You can't afford to fall far behind Pac and take too many of his punches early, because with his speed and power, you'd get KO'd.

I sound like i'm contradicting myself but I'm not. I think Margo will be a solid +180 to +220 by fight night. For betting odds and an upset..DEPENDING on which Margarito shows up. (the one that beat Cotto's ass) or the one that Mosley beat up (which is still a good fighter against Pac). I just have this sneaky feeling that Uncle Bob pays his Top Rank fighters to take it easy on Pac.

Margo is not the same fighter you hope to see. The Shane beating really took a lot out of him. Add Pac's speed and it's no contest.

Being Arum, you can say whatever you want. But to take one fighter to dive, I don't think he'll do it. Just imagine where he is now, it would put everything he ever built for out the window, for what, for a couple of millions?

At his late age and stature I doubt it.

i can't see it as an easy fight either way. margo may have trouble with pac's speed and movement but i think he lands a significant amount anyway. pac will get hit but not as much as cotto did. i don't see pac hurting or knocking down margarito either. i pac wins, my guess is it will be by a hard fought ud.

Bob arum will not let it happen unless this is Pacs last fight. A smart business man like BOb Arum knows better than to let it happen.

I respect your Opinion. Anything can happen and even if pac wins i don't think he's gonna KO margarito. Margo is just too big...

I think a late round ko is more probable

margarito doesn't know how to fight southpaws. He lost to 3 already in the past.
