:lol:FCKN PRICELESS!!:lol: - I just wish when things like this happen in boxing that the crowd in attendance would just swarm the dodgy judges and ref and beat the living crap out of them and just hand the real winner the belt - that would be so cool!!

That might be an in-joke I missed somewhere, but the judges that night were Guy Jutras of Canada, Ove Oveson of Denmark, and Yosaku Yoshida of Japan.

Also the Tyson Douglas bout was heading that way. Tyson even on one card and leading on another is mind boggling

Roger Tillerman I think it was. It must say something about the world we live in that he still officiates fights.

Hagler vs. Duran???...... a robbery?!!! Seriously?

Even if you somehow score the fight for Duran, there is no way you have him up by more than a point or two. How can that be called a robbery? Honestly, how can any close fight be called a robbery?

What needs to be questioned is one sided scorecards in what seems to be a close fight.

Anyway, here are a few bad ones in my opinion.

    Trinidad W12 DeLaHoya
    Toney W12 Tiberi

Again, a close fight. I thought Barkley did enough for the win but it was a close fight, no robbery. Giuseppe Ferrari's scorecard of 118-112 for Duran raises an eyebrow though!

Yeah. I'm joking; given that this is 'classic' and how iconic that fight is, both generally and in Duran's career.

It was close and it certainly wasn't the kind of robbery mentioned elsewhere in this thread but, like you say, every time I see it, I can't escape the feeling that a certain kind of wish-fulfillment / fairy-tale influenced the scoring a little.

    "Hagler-Duran".

Is this the kind of crap that gets bandied around in classic these days? So glad I don't post in here any more.
