5'10 walk around at 158... should be able to make 147 fairly easily.

Had I fought professionally I would have entered my "prime" at 147 in the early 80's. Tommy Hearns, Wifred Benitez, SRL, Duran -- thanks but no thanks:nono

i would drain myself just to fight at bantamweight, although my optimum weight is at 140lbs. Many Pinoy boxers do that, because they can fight competitively at the lower weights than at 135 and above.

I'm training to fight at 200lbs. Currently I'm 194lbs, but I was a cut 198 when I started boxing so there's no chance I'm going down to 175. Not unless I get aids

Lets see say my prime years were mid 20s to early 30s i would have taken on Whittaker,ODLH,Quartey,Mosley and later moved up and finishe d my career by knocking out Tito and Vargas:lol: One can dream cant they:bbb

When people look back at your career they will say 'Anarci was a great talent, but he never fought the best in his division'

Only one they could mention would have been WInky Wright:lol: Style wise a nightmare matchup for me:D Although i might have outworked him and tried to outmuscle him inside. But Winky was very physically strong too.

If I were to atampet to be a competitive boxer in the future. I would be getting a very late start.
6'0" Walk around 155-165. I fell that I am my strongest when I weigh in the 150-160 range.
    Pro: I'd box at 154 maybe 160.
Amateur: I would have to do the Masters (35 and older). I would fight at 152.

If you walk around at middle id say you could probably get down to welter.

im 5'9'' and im walking around at 170 - 180 at min, i reckon i could get down to welterweight or possibly light welter if i really put the effort in, nothing below that though

if i were a boxer id probably be in my prime now so the division would be stacked with Pac, Mayweather, mosley, cotto, alexander, bradley, khan etc etc - this probably vindicates my decision to not take up the sport

I think my era was more deep ODLH,Whittaker,TIto,Mosley,QUartey,Lopez,Vargas(at JM) :D However the early 80s was even greater.

yeah mate, it would be a pisser if you peak was in a seriously weak division and you couldnt have been half decent so i suppose having a deep division of talent enables you to know you probably wouldnt have ahad much of a chance anyway:D

Up until I was 25, I don't recall ever weighing more than 150. If that much. When I graduated from high school at 19 I was about 140.
If I was to turn pro than not only could I make 147, but 130, 135, 140, 147 and 154. I think my "prime" would be at 140 -147.
I'm by no means fat but like most people as i gotten older. I'm 37, and closer to my 38th birthday than to my 37th. I have added weight. My walk around weight has increased. 147 is further away now than it was when i was younger.
While I'd like to have the reach advantage that I would often have at 147. I just don't think my body can do that anymore.
