Martinez, most probably SD/UD though I reckon he could stop Williams late. Yes it sounds silly but is totally plausible considering the current state of both fighters.

I have to go with The Punisher, he edged out a close decision the first fight by outworking Sergio in the later rounds, Sergio made his mark in the fight with hard well placed punches but Paul ultimately sealed the victory with his high workrate, if (and this is only if) Paul tightens his defence up well enough to avoid those left hands and quick right hooks this should be a clear cut UD or late TKO for the Punisher.

But if anyone gets knockout it will be Martinez losing by TKO with a flurry of unanswered punches, i don't think his power is good enough to KO Williams, he hit Paul and Kelly with numerous hard shots but other than the Paul Williams KD he didn't come close to stopping either man, i doubt his power gets better.

Paul actually has a better chance at gameplanning for Martinez's counter punching and left hand, it would be more difficult for Martinez to come up with an answer for Paul's high workrate and length, Paul should amp it up a notch in the rematch, i think Martinez ran out of gas the last fight, so pressure, pressue, pressure is the key along with being concious of the counter left and lead right hooks.

I vote Maravilla by UD/SD. He's hungrier for this rematch, and he's definitely got the skills. I'm sure he'll leave no doubt in the judges' minds this time.

Martinez hurt Williams more than Williams hurt Martinez thats damn sure.
I give you the Pavlik thing, but you need to count in the fact that both men are bigger than Martinez.

Martinez should win. Paul Williams is still lucky to be undefeated. The first Martinez fight took his soul away and he is a shell of his former self now. He doesn't have the confidence in his chin to do his video game A,B,A,B,A,B,A,B style of fighting which is what made him a threat to anyone. He is very mediocre at just boxing and has far too many defensive flaws. There will be no way to robb martinez this time.

Williams by UD. Martinez fades down the stretch and will get outworked again by Williams.

I never disputed the fact that Martinez landed the harder and more hurtful shots, but i'm going by the fact that when Martinez did throw his power shots he landed at will and couldn't stop Paul and Paul was never on ***** street or look liked he would be stopped to me, but neither was Martinez.

I'm just going by my opinion that if someone gets stopped it would be Martinez due to the fact that Paul should be able to overwhelm him with punches prompting the ref to stop the fight due to Sergio being winded, just my theory, i am after all rooting for Williams and it's just my outlook on the matchup, i see a Carlos Quintana type of redemption for Paul due to alot of peope believing he lost the first fight, obviously i am not one of those people.

Forgot about that first Quintana fight. I still feel the rest of what I said is accurate and I'm sure you have that type of feeling also since you didn't comment on it.

I have the feeling Williams is going to blast him out, though I'm hoping Martinez beats him. I had him up in the first I believe.

Martinez more me just about. But this is a 50-50 fight in my eyes. Gotta go with the champ though.

Martinez has a stamina issue he takes rounds off because of it.
