That overwhelming paul williams is a thing of the past. Why didn't he overwhelm cintron? He didn't because he was unsure of himself and that stems from all the bombs he took in the Martinez fight. He is unsure of that chin and that is why he didn't try to overwhelm cintron.

I see you think williams won the first fight with Martinez so you must also think he was winning against cintron.

Thing is, just saying paul is gonna outwork Martinez is like saying you didn't see Paul's last two fights. He already tried that with Martinez and he didn't overwhelm him, and there is no excuse for the dumbfounded, confused way he was fighting Cintron. The only reasons for him fighting cintron in that way is the one I put up in my original post.

The Bottom Line is "His days of overwhelming top fighters are over". I Picked Williams to Knock Martinez out prior to the first fight. I will tell you that he is not the same man he was before. He will need a robbery to win and that's not too far off considering they had the robbery in place for the cintron fight.

I think Williams can do some things a bit different. Look at what happened in Pavlik/Martinez as soon as Kelly stopped over extending himself, and layed off the head hunting. Paul needs to follow that example, and stop doing that crap. Just those two thing would make a pretty big difference.

I do not think Martinez can change much. He is what he is, and he pretty much has to stick with that skitter bug style of his.

On the other hand, Martinez did in fact hurt Williams in the first round. PDub was saved by the freaking bell, and then it took him a full round to recover. Even NBA admitted that.

I'm leaning toward another win for PDub, but I ain't leaning to far! Maybe something like 52/48%.

    No outcome will surprise me.

I'm going with Martinez, nothing against Williams. I don't know if the fight will finish via KO, but I do expect a highly competitive fight. Both Williams and Martinez will be better prepared for each other in this fight as compared to the first.

Yea PW makes such good adjustments during a fight. I mean he has many different fighting styles. He can counter, he is slick....

YOu idiot the one that knows how to make adjustments is Martinez. PW does the same damn thing for 12 rounds.
This time Martinez will have a fully thought out plan since he knows he is fighting PW and has plenty of time to implement the strategy.

Also PWs chin looked cracked to me and i wouldnt be surprised if its an early stoppage in Martinez favor.

How about a full training camp to go with his mid fight adjustments?
If you didnt see the adjustments he made throughout the PW fight then there is no hope. Also the Pavlik fight he made adjustments.

I expect Martinez to come in with a full blown 12 round plan for PW. This time PW will be so confused and actually hurt even more earlier.

Williams was just getting warmed up when Kermit jumped out of the ring like a frog. He was starting to turn up the heat and it would have only gotten worse for Cintron who doesn't deal well with pressure. No doubt in my mind Williams would have either stopped Cintron or won every round.

I see you just don't like Williams so theres really no point in a debate, and Paul Only has one way of fighting balls out like a soulja, he only fought cautiously because he was employing the gameplan his trainer laid out, he saw it wasn't effective so he went back to the pressure in the Cintron fight and was starting to connect and had Cintron in retreat which is obvious since he dived through the ropes, and please explain how a man becomes unsure of his chin when he wasn't KO and he won the fight:huh:-(,

Martinez by decision. I scored the last fight to him (but only just by a point I think).

Because he took major punishment. He took that prolonged type of punishment which changes your resistance.
Also i was really rooting for PW to beat Cintron since i really dislike him but Cintron was dominating that fight and if anything it just looked like the more PW opened up the more he was getting hit and yes he was wobbled for a bit in one of those exchanges. I actually think Cintron was on his way to a KO win but being the heartless idiot he is he ruined it.

I think Martinez also has more power than Cintron. His power is overrated and if he was able to stun PW then MArtinez will do some serious damage you will see.

Hey fukkboy, first please anyone on ESB explain to me how you get labeled china chin or your chin is cracked when you've never been Knocked out and on top of that fought a good enough fight to get the win, Martinez also does the same thing in every fight, hands down lead right hooks, counter lefts blah, blah, blah, like i said Paul can be a tad more cautious and not take those same punches in the rematch, theres really nothing Sergio can do to stop Paul's Volume punching and length , after seeing fight one numerous times from what i've seen Paul wins again, look for Maravilla to run out of gas again, he kinda reminds me of another slippery southpaw, can you say Quintana, wonder what he did in his rematch with the Punisher.

Cant count out Paul Williams he is one hell of a fighter but I got Martinez. I thought personally Sergio edged it last time out and IMO in this rematch he will be improved. Now he looked great in December but on only a months notice he didnt look quite as quick as he does in other fights it seemed like he got tired in the middle rounds and needed that 2nd wind. Sergio trains all year round but he cleary wasnt training 100 percent for a fight with a monster like Williams when he got that call a month out. You need to be in perfect condition to face a guy with the workrate and pressure of Williams. I think a full camp for Martinez will be what he needs to get the W. Cant freaking wait for this fight.

Dude we've already seen what Martinez can do, he hit Paul with Numerous power punches and couldn't finish the job, his power will not get any better and if you think he hits harder than Cintron then you need to watch more footage of the two, no way does Paul eat those same number of power shots from Kermit and not get KO'ed. And news flash they both took punishment and Sergio was the more winded of the two, he also went down, so in essence you can say his chin is also cracked, get off the BS please.
