    FACTS:

Williams is not that good because he is unable to use his MAMMOTH height and reach advantages. It is highly embarrassing.

His workrate and pressure is not what it once was.

    He looks worse every fight.

Well yes they both took punishment thats why it was FOTY candidate.

However PW punches were not as hard as Martinez punches. PW had great stamina and always has had it so of course he wasnt winded.
Martinez was coming in as a late replacement to fight a guy with a difficult style. Williams was getting ready for the fight of his life.
also in boxing in fights like these normally its the guy that knows how to make adjustments that wins the rematch. Dont use Quintana as an example because he is a decent fighter who on his best day is a B level fighter.

Come on man. This is simple stuff. Im starting to think you are either new to boxing or a very loyal PW fan.

    Martinez.

I think Paul drank his own kool-aid with that most feared fighter crap, & the fight with Martinez shocked the **** out of him.

I also think that Martinez wants this re-match a hell of a lot more than Williams does.

    Starting to think?

He has PW **** in his mouth as we speak. There are too many PW nuthuggers on this site. They cant see obvious things and think he should be top 10/5 p4p when in reality he should struggle to make top 20.

It could easily go either way. I had Martinez winning the first time , but very closely and I'm fine with William's having got the nod. I expect it to be pretty similar next time.

    Martinez by close decision.

He didn't fade against Pavlik. Just when I thought he was starting to go (and he was; he had a bad few rounds in the middle when Kelly switched his style), he turned it on in the last three or four rounds and consolidated. At this point, I'm more inclined to believe the 'training' excuse.

On the fight itself: I don't know. Too close to call.

Who the hell has Cintron knocked out that was worth anything? Hell who has he beat other than a sick Angulo that was worth anything as well? Cintron wasn't knocking anyone out he's a guy who melts down when he's under pressure he would have gotten his ass whooped in that fight had he continued he knew and that's why he bailed out when he did.:deal

Paul needs to step it up. His performance against Cintron was pathetic. I still favor him to win, though, because Sergio Martinez just isn't very good.

Hell anyone can look come alive when they see a guy standing in front of him that's bleeding out like the way Pavlik was. Kelly at that point was a mentally and physically beaten fighter from that cut and Sergio knew it.

All Williams does is step up.

He won a title at 24.

What was Sergio doing at that age?:D

    Williams.

He's not the guy you want to fight twice.
