I'm sure I read in Ring today that Silver titles are the WBC's name for Interim belts, suppose gold is proper and that ****ing diamond thing is for god knows what, whatever they are called they all = $£$ for Sulaiman

A joke. I've given up on the belts mostly and I just take the fights for whatb they are.

We've got a middleweight title at 157lbs in a couple of months, **** 80-90 (or whatver it is) of boxing history.

Interim titles are contested when a champion is in recess or unavailable to defend his title and granted an exception by the sanctioning body for a period of time. Does that mean Saul Alvarez is somehow a mandatory for a shot at the champion? Additionally how does it make any sense as the WBC Silver title was vacant when he fought Cuello. Since when were Interim titles "vacant"? Honestly this is just an absolute bull**** typical WBC scam to make more money of sanctioning fee's. They run out of idea's so yeah lets make a new belt and get someone to fight for it. ****ing disgraceful :patsch:patsch

You used to be able to buy replica belts through a company that used to advertise in boxing news. I nearly got one once. :D

It was. I don't know what happened with it but on the magnificent seven they were saying Don Broadhurst was fighting for the English title, I don't think he did on the night though. Gaven vs whoever he fought was for the Irish title aswell.
