He wouldn't give him a vicious beating, but he would dismantle him throughout the fight and I wouldn't eliminate a late stoppage.

Floyd dismantles Cotto from the opening bell. He's jab is overrated. His body punches wouldnt penetrate Floyds guard and he's far to slow for Floyd to fear every getting caught with something big. Floyd boxing him from the outside, and begins walking him down for the KO in later rounds.

I forsee Cotto swollen and bleeding all over the place. He'll make the final bell though.

:-( Cotto isn't Arturo Gatti. And he isn't slow. He's no where near as slow as Castillo who caught Floyd plenty. I'm talking a prime cotto btw, not today's cotto who I'd agree Floyd would probably dominate.

Mayweather is actually the ***** queen of would have, could have and should have.

Just ask any ***** and Gayweather always wins by knockout.

If a very slow, aged Mosley can tag him and make him look ***** on the ring, Cotto will definitely tag him and then we will again see a marathon fight, literally.

cotto vs Judah is a good indication of how it could go.

Cotto could get knocked as his chins not what it used to be, and mayweather will land fast and hard.

However Cotto is a good boxer as proved vs Mosley Foreman and Judah, and I think he would do ok.

You'd have to favour Mayweather though.

But Cotto is good against the slick boxer type. He struggles more with aggresive punchers.

Mayweather did not give the lightweight old JMM a vicious beating, he will never give Cotto a vicious beating, in fact Cotto has a chance to beat Floyd.

no. in order for floyd to give cotto a vicious beating, he has to fight him first. second is to commit to fight him head-on and not cruise on to a decision which is much harder to do than floyd actually fighting cotto.

Cotto doesn't have the defense and likes to come forward, Mayweather would land at will on him, land first, counter and beat him. Cotto prob makes it the distance but gets another sustained beating

Castillo was a better fighter then Cotto, he dominated his weight class. Thats not very debateable. Castillo also didnt catch Mayweather plenty, even in the 1st fight he rarely landed anything upstairs. Mayweather was also 10lbs lighter and smaller then Castillo.

    Castillo - 5'8 69 inch reach

    Cotto - 5'6 67 inch reach

Mayweather is far stronger and bigger then he was then. He'd destroy Cotto.

    :lol::lol::lol::lol:

Juan Manuel Marquez beat Pacquiao up. Cotto got beat up. Marquez is far more technically skilled then Cotto, and thus harder to land cleanly against. Floyd had to worry about getting countered back. He wouldnt have that worry against slow ass Cotto. You dont know **** about boxing.
