Valuev/Don King demanded $4 million for fighting Vitali. Vitali said that's more than he (as the belt holder) would make and that was unacceptable. He said the most he could offer was $2.5 million, considering Valuev didn't bring a belt nor a title.

Valuev said $2.5 million is "not enough" after paying Don King, Sauerland and his trainer/team.

So you tell me who was negotiating himself out of the fight?

Abraham is a complete idiot. I thought higher of him. Povetkin? Didn't that nutcase run and hide? Haye? Valuev? Please.

Solis where is this guy? Why doesn't he get the WBC to make him mandatory, Vitali's mandatory is due right now so he could enforce a no-options fight with a decent purse. If Solis wanted to fight Vitali right now he just has to call the WBC so what's the hold up????

First champ in history to make less money than the challenger? :rofl

What are you talking about. Dont make **** up just because it suits your agenda.
Besides Haye isnt even challenger it would be unification match

Apparently he does, because his legacy would greatly improve if he would beat Haye and Valuev

Imagine for a second that Haye's contract with Sauerland (who currently take a % cut from his purse) expires sometime in 2011 and it will all make sense to you.

All Wlad has to do is wait, win his own fights without being knocked out by some random bum and pray to God that Haye doesn't get knocked out by some random bum like Audley. Then we will see if Haye suddenly will experience a change in mind and be willing to risk a fight with Wlad for 50% of the money.

Obviously Haye has shown he is willing to fight the best by offering Audley Harrison a shot at his title

Abraham is full of **** here, and Carl 'the Cobra' Froch will beat that **** out of him

I'm willing to believe that in 2011, Wlad would fight more suitable opponents.

Here's my prediction of what would happen.

Early 2011, Adamek. He is the WBO mandatory and he won't duck Klitschko.

Late 2011, Haye. I'm sure that after fighting his mandatory (Chagaev or whoever), he'd cash in by fighting Wlad.

December 2011, who knows? Maybe Povetkin is ready and Valuev can fight.

That's not a fact, it's your opinion. Fatc is that Wlad has 58 fights and Byrd, Brewster and Peter were willing to fight him twice, Byrd and Peter have three Klitschko fights each now. Fact is that at a time when Chagaev was far more accomplished at HW than Haye, he was willing to face Wlad on short notice, while Haye hasn't been willing to face either Klitschko in two years.

And your evidence for this is?

How is offering, for instance, David Haye a 50-50 worldwide split, more than he deserves, treating him like a "bum club fighter?"

Shannon Briggs recently said he'd been treated very well, "A+" by K-2, and that all the stuff about contracts from Haye and Valuev was a smokescreen.

Sam Peter was made Wlad's mandatory after Povetkin (or Teddy Atlas for Povetkin) decided he wasn't ready to fight him, correct?

Briggs I can see your point on, but given the lack of other willing and available opponents, I have no problem with it.

Stupid ignorant comments from Abraham. Art should go and try to motivate Hayefaker & Duckvetkin to sign the contract to fight WLad in early 2011. Good luck on that Art.
