I think you are missing my point. The abuse he would take over a career from fighting these bigger stronger guys would a) shorten his career which by definition of his style would already be short and b) would make for at least one upset from the bunch. He would be injured more often and more severely. And there are just more variables with these huge guys manhandling you, leaning on you and yes haymakers from 250 pound dudes are harder than the same punches from 190 pounders.

A guy I know had a cage fight killing 2 pitbulls. Does that mean he can kill 2 Rocky's Suzie? :D

He'd be a great cruiserweight. Perhaps the best ever. At heavyweight. He might get some good wins. He's not going to beat the Klitchko's. I think a win over Haye is unlikely as well. He could break into the top 10, but being a champion is very unlikely.

The only one right now I can see that would present Rocky problems is Vitali. He'd destroy Haye, he'd eventually take out Wlad, he'd knock out Valuev and he'd clean up all the fat slobs like Peter, Adamek etc. But in reality I think Vitali would stop him on his feet. It hurts me to say that.

no way vitali is stopping marciano if wlad isn't.i think marciano would beat all the hw's today, except wlad

No. Marciano had a 32" waist, 39" chest, and 7 1/2" wrist. I've seen higher measurements on Pacquiao.

Just look at the guy...Rocky cut from 205lb to 185lb..that was with 20 miles a day of running...what possibly more could he do to take off 10 more lbs? Rocky had no fat on him at 185lb.

I like this post, and apart from Gavilan-Abraham comparison I see it pretty similar. Of course Rocky would turn pro at 200 - weighing around 200 - I don't think he could carry that much more but when he inevitably came up to HW it would be with a huge following and the backing of some serious money and a legal or illegal chemistry lab at his disposal. He'd have some huge fights and would win some and lose some before retiring early/embarrassing himself.

Anyone who doesn't think he would at least hold a HW strap is deluding themselves.

You have a glorified image of him. Fact is, he could fit very comfortably in a medium men's t-shirt. Is this what you call big boned?:

Man, I didn't know he had trained down to 178 when he was young. Is that right?
