if you look at the difference between the that beat cotto and the margarito that lost to Mosley (ignoring the handwraps)/ was Mosley tying margarito up after landing a combination. cotto didnt do this and moved away from margarito after landing his shots.

Pacquiao typically punches in bunches then steps out of range. I can't see him being strong enough to tie up a man the size of margarito, does this mean we could see the pac man lose this one by fighting the same tactics as cotto?

Pacquiao and Cotto are equals in terms of footspeed and movement, so this is definitely an apt comparison.

im not saying that, im saying that u dont want to let margo come forward, hence the title 'Fightplan'. cotto landed big shots and margo took them, mosley tired him out by tying him up and not letting him come forward and gain momentum

Miguel Cot wasn't able to go to the body like Mosley. Mosley let that ***** know he wasn't playing by socking him hard to the body early. marg's best work comes out if he can cut the ring off, and pin you against the ropes. emmanuel will bodyshot that hoe, so his legs become less effective.

    This.

Mosley was also muscling Margarito about on the inside and in the clinches, Manny of course won't be able to do this (or will he) but Manny has much quicker feet than Marg. As stated though the body will be the key to chopping Tony.

Get in and out keep Margo turning and resetting all night and Margo. This fight should be easy work for Pac if Margo is done like I think he is.

Good point. If Pac decides to box on his toes he might wear out and who knows judging from his physical shape right now he might have stamina issues.

Pac needs to nail that body and also be able to clinch. I have never seen Pac clinch much so i dont know how effective he could use it.

Hmm Margo was hit by the hardest hitting WW for 9 rounds before going down along with being grinded down with body shots and clinching.

Pac is not particularly a body puncher or a strong clincher.... he is a hard puncher but not Mosley level either.

Holy **** could we see an upset!?

The thing about the infighting and clinching is going to be the strength of each fighter, which you surely would have to bet on Margarito to have the edge on. If Manny gets into the clinch whats to stop Tony pushing him to the ropes or to the corner?

Shane didn't have to worry about this because the man is a beast. I'd bet on Manny staying on his toes all night. Of course this is pure speculation.
