The new Ring magazine just got here in the mail today and the cover story is this

"Money Meets his match 10 guys who would have beat mayweather's butt"

here's the list of 10 guys who would have beat Mayweather at his best

    Ray Robinson
    Ray Leonard
    Thomas Hearns
    Aaron Pryor
    Henry Armstrong
    Roberto Duran
    Pernell Whitaker
    Oscar De La Hoya
    Sandy Saddler
    Alexis Arguello

I think it's a pretty solid list these 10 guys would have given mayweather 10 losses had he fought them. I know he fought De La Hoya but come on Mayweather barely beat a physically faded, 34 year old, semi retired de la hoya

Lets here it esb what do you think about mayweathers chances against these legends.

Of those the only one I really have doubts is Pryor.

When do they consider Mayweather to be at his best? Those fighters range from featherweight to welterweight.

None of these are beating Mayweather in a million years:

    Aaron Pryor
    Henry Armstrong
    Oscar De La Hoya
    Sandy Saddler
    Alexis Arguello

I would give him a good shot against Arguello and Saddler at 130 but i would pick the rest to beat him and some of them quite handily.

I think Saddler would have a very good chance. Other than that I probably agree, possibly DLH at lightweight.

Saddler has the worst chance because of his lack of skill/jab/defense. HE might well make it tough but he isnt winning. DLH is very raw at LW

    I don't know, write a cover story on Pac/Margo? Khan/Maidana? Bradley/Alexander?

Instead, they are still trying to milk the cash cow who is dealing with other issues right now.

    Pathetic.

I disagree about the jab, it wasnt great but it was long, irritating and effective. That along with his great left hook and stunning right hand could give Floyd problems. He was far from graceful but he did beat Willie Pep 3 out of 4 so he can fight well against guys who are great defensively.
