No it`s about them not wanting Warren to hold all the cards on this fight and maybe trying to get more money out of Warren
I refuse to believe either Warren or HM would honestly want this fight right now. I don't think I'd believe it was happening until I saw them actually get in the ring and one of them threw a punch, and even then I would be expecting a fire alarm to go off and the show abandoned as part of some elaborate PR stunt.
wasnt a final eliminator. Anderson and Quigley are fighting a final eliminator. DeGale would either need to fight another eliminator, or would fight the winner of Anderson vs Quigley if Smith vacates.
I dont think so, you dont know what Warren has offered from what i have seen is that james degale has good skill but groves is more solid with pretty good skills too, close fight i think...
Call him number 2 contender, undefeated, Gold medalist etc Plus he beat Dilks who went at it close with Adamu. My point is they are at the same level right now. Word for a while has been that Quigley is moving weight.
It would be a great way to get hayemaker promos to get off to a great start again, i wonder who they are going to sign this time?
thats what I heard to about Quigley but he turned down Darren Barker on the Haye vs Ruiz undercard and he didn't turn down the nomination to fight Anderson. My point is that DeGale has promised everyone, and has been promised by Warren, a domestic title by the end of 2010. If Warren cannot guarantee a fight for the British title.....theres only Groves left. Thats why Groves holds some cards here.
The fighters need to demand things. If Warren doesn't deliver Smith or Groves then he has failed DeGale as his promoter. Brit champ Smith is facing English champ David so he won't be able to fight them. That leaves C'Wealth champ Groves. If not groves then it has to be Euro champ Magee. Groves and Magee are the only guys available and have belts.
