I think I've seen at least half of those names. They were on a list of fantasy matchups and how The Ring felt Floyd would do against them. He beat Duran and Hearns I believe. I gotta see if I have that issue, but I think The Ring is being a bit disingenuous.

At welter Floyd probably wins but at lightweight, Duran's best weight, I dont think there's any doubt Duran wins.

I know my opinion isn't the most popular but I don't agree. I'm a huge Leonard fan too being from DC myself.

Why are people constantly doing this to Mayweather? Is it because he claims to be the GOAT?? Apparently a shocking number of people are taking him seriously which is a laughing matter. If Pacquiao is widely considered better than Floyd, why aren't they picking on Manny to use as a tool to compare him to fighters from different eras? After all, isn't he Fighter of the Decade? I have a sneaky suspicion people are obsessed with undermining Mayweather's talents.

Yh i can agree with that, out of a series of several fights they could split them at lightweight. Even at his prime weight he got beaten by pure boxers.

I think it's because Mayweather is undefeated and the majority of unbiased people see him beating Pacquiao. Also, with Pacquiao's style many people would go for these guys and some others to beat Pac, whereas Mayweather's style gives him an advantage over a lot of past fighters.

Ray had beaten MUCH better guys at 147 then Floyd had. Plus he was bigger, just as fast, just as skilled. 147 is Floyd maxing it. SRL was comfortable there.

You forgetting that duran out brawled SRR, Hearns outboxed him twice unfortunately getting the draw in one and getting stopped in the other.

He also in a majority of peoples eyes lost to Hagler.

This shows that although as great as he was he was susceptible as nearly every top victory has a side note next to it.

Possibly, but Duran is more versatile than people give him credit for and I do think he'd beat Floyd at lightweight, though not above.

The two Sugars beat him 7-5 or 8-4 in a fairly close fight.

Hearns is the worst possible match-up and may stop Floyd very late.

Pryor I would favour Floyd 60/40.

Armstrong I think Floyd would beat.

Duran is an interesting one. 60/40 Duran at lightweight and 50/50 at welter.

Whitaker wins a very close fight at lightweight and loses a close one at 147.

De La Hoya is the most interesting one here I would think. I can't pick a winner here.

I'd heavily favour Floyd over Saddler and especially Arguello.

Chavez is Duran light. Payor stands a better chance against Mayweather than Duran and Chavez.
Castilio never beat Mayweather. The first fight was close. However the judges scored that fight right on the money.

get off it, since when has shane outboxed and out thought any skilled fighter?

Oscar would lose to every version of floyd, that guy struggled to beat alot of mediocre opponents of his convincingly.

He was scared to fight through his second wind:lol: incase he got tired. flopped everytime at the highest level.

    :good

The record his record should i say tells us that homes

Prime Hoya, Mosley beat him @ 147. Whitaker beats him. Forrest and Winky Wright have a good shot.

Leonard and Hearns embarass him. Duran beats him.
