You have Floyd in your avatar, automatic disqualification from having a valid opinion.

Yeah weight classes matter dumbass. These are 10 fighters in weight classes that he has fought in. Obviously there are exceptional boxers above him in weight. For instance Ali is ranked higher and isn't on this list. Same with Joe Louis.

Besided the weight issue there is also the fact H2H is not everything. Resume plays a big part, ie the main part. This is because some fighters who look amazing on paper just can't hold it together. Something causes them to just lose even when they should win. Tyson losing to Buster Douglas Judah losing to Baldomir. IE some fighters lose heart lose that killer instinct. And other time fighters just pull that upset. These intangible qualities are almost impossible to measure without great depth of good competition to see how they react to the situation. How would Floyd feel coming in the massive underdog would it force him to push himself to the limit or would he crumple. How would he react to a guy continuously battering him and scoring 1 knock down or 2 who still keeps coming. Maybe he rallies and pushes himself to the next level or maybe he just crumples under it. The fact is these scenerios haven't really happened with Mayweather so we can't know how he would react.

I disagree, if Meldrick Taylor could outbox J.C before he started brawling too much I think Mayweather can.

Floyd doesn't really belong among most of those names. They are a level above him.

No, you see, we can see ALL of Mayweather's fights (even freaking sparring sessions) so we know how he fights, no question about it, what i'm saying is people get too over-hyed about older fighters and feel as if they're historians, when they've only seen a couple of their fights, and what was it that you see in Saddler that would make you believe that he would beat Mayweather?????
