although you have a great post and i agree with you on most of what you said, but are you serious????? hatton ballons up to like 200 pounds between fights and come training camp he sweats like a pig and nearly kills himself to get down to 140, and he's a natural junior-welterweight????? come on now man, even 147 is a stretch

dude whittaker got beat by ramirez, and he was not past it aginst de la hoya.

you a fool records and facts cant be doubted. SRR as much as he was a great fighter had disputable wins

    hagler
    hearns 2

lucky he stopped hearns in 1st fight.

    got outbrawled by duran.

Floyd got to much discipline inside the ring to get bull rushed by another fighter.

being inactive for twenty years plus doesnt make you authentic and make your value in the ring improve.

You guys always place the old timers in the **** dont stink department.

Im going to cal you bert sugar.

Shoot...I get called the BIGGEST HATER  bu the Fanatics. But I was one of the few here years ago who used to support him. Of course, that was when he was still looking to fight top guys.

NO other fighter gets the benefit of the doubt on so many mythical match ups. "Floyd's too fast...too skilled..." reallt, WTF does that even mean? But fools like PimpC think that's all you need, more speed and skill then your opponents.

But based on who he ACTUALLY did get in the ring with and beat, has Floyd done any more above 147 then someone like Mayorga, as crazy as that questions is. Has Floyd done more at 147 & above then Sugar Shane? Then DLH? Nope.

My point is all of Hatton's fights were at 140lbs, so instead of fighting a true 147 pound superstar Floyd picks Hatton who made a name for himself beating stiffs in England, and Floyd fights Hatton 7lbs above his normal weight class. A guy of Hatton's stature has no business fighting at 147lbs.

No matter how much weight he gains, we all know Floyd's a ***** and has hand picked his way to having this overrated undefeated record. Yes the guy has skills, yes he's undefeated, BUT WHO IS HE DISPLAYING THESE SKILLS ON AND WHO IS HE BEATING, TAKE A LONG LOOK AT IT.

(this coming from a guy who's actually RECORDED Floyd's entire career because I thought he was the next big thing)

The biggest risk Floyd took in his career was fighting Genaro Hernandez because a lot of people thought he was jumping up too quick in class, since that point in time, HE TAKES NO RISKS, NONE!

Ironic a guy who takes no risks in the ring would take risks out of the ring with his freedom.

Your clutching at strawsbefore the debate got warmed up.

just like kermit frog cintron you leaped into another argument that has nothing to do with the subject of Floyd vs the ten aforemntioned fighters from yesteryear.

    You have no value.

    Worse then usa currency

Case in point, these undefeated rising stars like Berto, what do people say about them? "Well he hasn't stepped up in class enough to be considered proven."

How about ****ing Floyd Mayweather? Other than Diego, what was the last fight Floyd went into where people actually thought it was not a mismatch in Floyd's favor?

Ducked Kostya in his prime, ducked Mosley in his prime, ducked Zab in his prime, ducking Pacquiao (I don't have the urge what the ****?!), ducked Cotto in his peak, ducked Margarito in his peak, the ****ing laundry lists of guys Floyd ducked is as long as his rap sheet!

Duran beat SRL, not SRR & at I believe the majority scored the SRL-Hagler fight close for Leonard.

Mayweather has no shot vs either of the Sugar Ray`s or Thomas Hearns, none at all... he is naturally smaller & even tho better defensively than all 3, doesnt come close to their offensive arsenal - even in a p4p sense never mind a H2H.

Seriously, this is getting crazy now.

So let me act like a Floydtard, "Andre Berto > Manny Pacquiao because Berto is undefeated"

What the **** are you smoking would be the response, and why? Because ****ing Berto hasn't proven himself.

Now Floyd's level of not proving himself is on a bit higher level, but it's the same ****ing thing.

How do we know if Floyd fought Cotto, Margarito, Judah, Kostya, Mosley, and guys like that when they were at their ****ing peaks that he would still be undefeated?

**** he lost the first fight to Castillo and that's a fact, Castillo brought the pressure and landed the more meaningful shots.

So who the **** is Floyd Mayweather to be compared to someone like Tommy Hearns or Sugar Ray Robinson when Floyd Mayweather is just a cherry picking overrated fighter? What the ****? That's like comparing LeBron James to Michael ****ing Jordan, well at least LeBron James has some real earned MVP's, not these alphabet titles that Floyd cherry picked along the ****ing way.

Zab knocked him down but the ref didn't see it.

    :good

Duran didn't outthink SRL in the first fight it was a brawl and it was still damn close.

Oscar gave Floyd some trouble with his jab so how would he deal with Hearns'? And If Mosley can land his right hand you better believe Hearns could and it would be lights out.

Oscar and Tito fought a post-prime Whitaker.

He had zero defence and wasn't a one-punch puncher. Floyd would beat him.

Not only would he lose he would get knocked out by 75% of them.
He would have ducked them all anyway unless they were 37.5 or older.

Exactly! Ex ****ing actly, he would have ducked the mother ****ers. Floyd would be busy fighting Terry Norris, making him drain himself, talking about how Hearns is too tall. Who the **** in their right mind calls this mother ****er a proven ****ing legend? ****!

    Obviously that was a typo.

Which fight was you watching since when does pitty pat pat win you decisions against hard solid punches while walking you down and landing a similar punch output.

Wait am i right or wrong.

Tommy hearbs and duran got outboxed by el radar? Floyd has slightly better defense then him and his alot more accurate when throwing punches.

Floyd woul smother hearns so he couldnt land with as much power.

Also am i right or wrong floyd has the highest percentage connect rate in history.

That is something else all together.

Are you really trying to say that Floyd ****ing I duck everyone who's great because i'm a ***** Mayweather would beat Tommy ****ing Hearns when he made the excuse to avoid Paul Williams saying "he is too big"???? Are you ****ing serious or do you have dreams about sucking Floyd's **** until it runs ****ing dry mother ****er? Tommy Hearns knocked out the doctor when he was born, first breath of fresh air that man took and he ko'ed the doctor in the second breath. Floyd Mayweather would be in a hospital if he ****ed with Hearns.
