Is Billy Walsh not retired? Either way its a long time since he fought and 4 year since he fought at light middle.
I thought Ryan Greene looked gown on the Frampton card. I know its only his seond fight but Id have him above Gorman at least.

    Whos Logan McGuinness?

I think Framptons win warrants him moving above McFadyen whos been inactive.

Logan's grandfather was an Irish boxer and Logan actually made his debut in Ireland and has his main following for the Irish-Canadian community. He returned to have another fight in Castlebar as well as was to fight for the Irish super-feather title but then started getting fights at home in Canada.

He has a big "local derby" fight coming up now against Buzz Grant (who beat Michael Kelly) and I wish him all the best - I actually voted him #1 but as its now a collaborative, we go with consensus.

O'Donnell has said to us at Boxing-Ireland.com that his future is at light-welter. Unless we here something different then that is where he will stay.

The Walsh Brother were on the last list that the BUI did about 3 years ago. I can only assume that they contacted the BUI and asked to be added to the list and gave reasons why. I've never met them to ask what the situation is and I've no intention of going out of my way to talk to them either - I'd be happy to remove them from the list but unless they say that they would never fight for an Irish title then we have to treat them the same as everyone else.

Our rule is that if a fighter has been inactive for 24 months and hasnt a fight lined up then they come off the list. If they are retired they immediately come off the list.

I havent seen a statement from Billy to say he has retired but if you can confirm that he has then he will come off the next list.

The list was compiled in August and drawn together on Sept 1 so any fights after that wont have been taken into consideration - I am sure there would be difference if it was done today and more again in two weeks etc.

I actually heard last week that McFayden has retired - so either way Framps will be ahead of him in the next list.

He has not turned down his nomination for the British Welterweight title and his last fight was there.

That means little to be honest. Spike O'Sullivan is the Irish middleweight champion and isnt listed as a middleweight either. Plenty of fighters take fights at different weights that they dont consider their primary weight classification.

Think Gorman's retired, had a knee injury or something. Not sure of the details but I'm pretty certain he's finished
