Duh! It's simple why Waldo must fight Chisora next.

This has nothing to do with it being a voluntary defence (or not).

Its just a complete **** poor mismatch of a fight that shouldn't even be entertained.

Chisora is a British level domestic fighter who hasn't even looked that good in the few fights he has been in.
For Wlad to start making offers to him is pathetic.

    No it won't.

It will just prove what everyone already knows.

Chisora shouldn't be in the ring with Wlad.

Chisora isn't known outside boxing circles in the UK.

Even if he does wear Union Jack shorts....

    Nobody will give a ****!

It has everything to do with being a voluntary defense. Wlad is voluntarily choosing a British fighter to take to Germany and beat up in place of Haye. It's pretty clear what the message is. Yes, he's a British level domestic fighter, just like Audley Harisburg. The only difference is that he's actually young and has potential, unlike old Audley. Ruining him will **** off some fans...whether you want to admit it or not. I've watched the guys fights. He has a loyal following and is considered a solid English Heavy...And he's the only Brit who's actually dumb enough to take the deal. Fury would run for the hill if Wlad even texted him.

I agree that it is a meanless fight on the world level, which is exactly why it will **** off your countrymen. They'll grasp what this fight is all about. It's about Wlad saying, "Well, if I can't beat up the best English Heavyweight because he's yellow, I'll have to make due with the second or third best."

It depends whether the media jump on the fight. If they did, and it was well promoted, a load of people would buy the PPV with the hopes a British guy can win the world title- only to see him get flattened. If that happened, you can be sure Wlad-Haye would become a whole lot bigger here- and Haye would start to get pressured by British journos to make the fight

That is the best case scenario though. It relies on Chisora and Frank Warren to capture the public's imagination in the same way Haye did for the Valuev fight

    Sorry fella thats rubbish.

Harrison is a household name for winning a gold in the olympics and generally being a ****. As **** as it is, it's a massive moneyspinner for Haye.

As a British fight fan I can comfortably inform you that nobody will give a **** if Wlad wipes the floor with Chisora. He doesn't have a loyal British following at all. If anything, people dont really like him because of his ear biting shennanigans in a previous fight.

No it won't...Chisora is barely known in the UK outside of hardcore boxing fans, and even then I wouldn't blame the hardcore boxing fans for not knowing who he is.

Haye wasn't a household name until the Valuev fight

But he was an undisputed cruiserweight champion who had successfully moved up to heavyweight.

Derek Chisora is a British level domestic heavyweight who before last weekend didn't even have great odds of beating Sam Sexton!

    Slightly different.

I agree, that may be part of why Wlad picked this guy.

That, and that he's undefeated, big, in shape, and Wlad has to fight SOMEone who is willing.

But if this guy was picked, not only for his own credibility, but also in order to send a message to Haye, I like that kind of ploy on Wlad and Steward's part. :good

Next, Wlad could turn it up, even more, and start beating up on Haye's brothers, cousins, and such. LOL

Symbols sometimes speak louder than words. Obviously, the issue means something to you. Come clean...You've responded to every single one of my posts regarding this fight. Now, either you are terribly bored, or you're being dishonest. Taking a British fighter to Germany and thrashing him will **** off some fans. It's obviously gotten under your skin. :D
