Why is Arthur being given the chance to fight in an eliminator? Hes absolutely wank! I would turn pro and fight him!

Nigel Wright beat him FFS! Waste of time for Mitchell here! TKO within 4 rounds and my mams mortgage is on that!!

Yeah BUDDY!!!! Who are you by the way? Notice you're from Dagenham. You know Mitchell personally? And Mitchell wins this quite easily. AA is finished. Still very good domestic fight for both.

Oh **** here we go, the lunatic fringe is arriving:lol:

Cue some posts about how Gomez gave Arthur the biggest one sided beating ever seen in a ring followed by a KO that had their own mothers cowering behind their collective couches...

How could Arthur EVER beat a fighter again after Gomez? Never mind the great Kevin Mitchell who got his ass handed to him in front of his own fans last time out?

Guess what? Im backing Arthur. Im watching Falling down on ITV 4 just now, & this is my Michael Dougles moment. This is when an ESB poster couldnt take it anymore...

Alex is going to win. Clear a path for him, cos hes coming home, coming with Kevin Mitchells scalp.

Dunky put your country aside for a minute and look at this logically. Remember what Cook did to AA? He made him look like an amateur. AA wasnt even at the races. He looked confused and most of all a fighter who's best days were long behind him.
To be fair this is somewhat of an even money fight. But all the advantages are with Mitchell who is the younger and the hungrier of the two.

I'm with Dunky on this one, Arthur to cause an upset for the over-rated and recently stiffened Mitchell.

I like Alex a lot, but never thought he was ever that good, and has deteriorated horribly latterly.
Mitchell did get starched, by the world level Katsidis, but he was excellent against Prescott who had much more to offer than Alex does now.

Should be an easy night for Mithchell!
We all know Arthur is done, just hope he packs it in after this. Its getting a little embarrasing now to see a bloke who has won so many titles get beat on the bottom of undercards.

Put my country aside for a minute? Look at this LOGICALLY for a minute? FFS Scurla, its me you are talking to here, not some some stupid ****in Hatton hugger.

You go on about Cook, who just happens to be your friend from yesteryear or whatever. So if you can forget your Cookie friendship for a moment, lets talk about this. Cook did enough to get a hometown win against probably the WORST Alex Arthur who ever boxed, & I include the Gomez fight, cos at least Arthur tried in the Gomez fight!
Against Cook? Arthur never fought out of first gear, Arthur was stupid enough to think he would get fair treatment fighting in the other mans back yard, & fannied around posing for the cameras instead of actually making sure he won the fight!
Cook jabbed & ran, went the distance & got the W over a stupid Alex Arthur.

Cook at his best beat Arthur at his worst in a stinker of a fight.

Cook goes on to get spanked by Martinez, & then an Arthur victim goes onto beat Martinez.

Meanwhile Alex beats a man who hammered his old nemesis Gomez in Arthurs last fight whilst Mitchell is still licking his wounds after he got hammered by a tough but limited australian?

You then call this an even money fight after slaughtering Arthur for being long past his best & calling Mitchell young and hungry?

Scurla, I think it is you who should be looking at things logically here, & not I;)

The thing that annoys me so much about AA is he thinks he is so good and he will be in no doubt that Kevin MItchell cannot beat him, i think mitchell could have some mental scaring from the Kat fight but AA has looked a shell since before he fought Cook remember the foster fight it was horrible but hopefully AA can become AAA again lol

Not really, when you have been watching boxing as long as me certain fights have comparisons through history, & I compared Willie Limond facing Morales in Mexico to Liverpools Andy Holligan fighting another mexican legend in Chavez in Mexico.

Simple as that really, & why I didnt make a big song & dance about the fight. We all knew ESB poster Limond was up against it from day one, & hardly a surprise when the altitude wore Willie out early.

You probably didnt notice, but I had a moan about Willies prep for the fight here a while back.

The card will shape up well if it includes all of those.

If it is half as good as last weekend then it will be well worth going to!!!
