The broadcast was scheduled to end at 10:30 so that is when the recording stops.
When recording a live "broadcast" (or channel 9) it's always a good idea to record the following program as well so you don't miss anything.

Anyway I was flicking back and forth and from what I can tell Singh didn't offer much. Had a poor work rate, and seemed to be looking for a DQ by repeated tackling/body slamming Soloman.

    Thanks for the tips.
Should have thought about recording the show after it.

Many people have told me about Pradeep Singh, when you can get him in the trenches or take him deep he looks for a way out & apparently is weak mentally too.
He clearly showed this during the 2nd half of this fight.
Ref Malcolm Bulner was being pretty leniant some of those MMA style takedowns were a disgrace.

Yeh, he had 3 goes at it before a point was taken.
I would have warned the first time, point the second, and DQ the third.

Asid from that, the fight wasn't too bad, with Sammy dominating from 1/2 way.

As for Foxtel, they need an 'add 60'.
The stupid ****ers just need to allocate an extra 1/2 hour at least for the boxing as it's very regular.
I usually record the next show too.

I didn't get the judges scores on the Kanovski V Rullo but I thought I heard Andy say there was an eight point difference. Buggered if I could see how that came about.
Not taking anything away from Pat but if "failure to engage" (Holding) cost points, Pat would have struggled to win many rounds. Jason was too strong & won that fight IMO.

    Muhmadov V Olarte
I dunno what must be going through Lincs head with his boy. Talk about an embarrassment of riches.
Mahmadov shows so much talent but is allowing some bad habits to sneak in & he got caught a few times by the perinial warrior Rey Anton, who incidently, is a throw back to the Franks, Flannery & Ropis. He is the man in Oz boxing at this time in our history.

Cesaire earned his stripes last night. Better suited against a boxer, He handled Steamin' Stevie Maxwell in all areas & I'm sure will get a huge confidence booster out of it.
I'll look forward to seeing more of him.

Sam Columbans continues to impress (Albiet a lesser opponent), From a hessitant & over cautious opponent that fought Solly Egberime to an on-fire wrecking ball that began like a Greyhound.

Main was pretty much what was expected.
Pradeep is the most mentally fragile fighter I've seen since I can't-remember-when, opposed to a mental giant like Sam, it was a no-brainer.

All in all though, some good fights & not a bad night,,,by a long shot IMO.

I agree with all your comments Rodin.

I thought Kanofski won the fight relatively close. Probably 96-94 or at most 97-93.

Mahmudov fought very immaturely at times & was lucky Olarte isnt a real heavy banger & fighting a couple weight classes above his natural frame otherwise he could have been in big trouble.

Colomban looked impressive tho against inferior opposition.

Pradeep was just as fragile mentally as they come.
Victor Oganov's thoughts on Pradeep being mentally weak from the contender series was 100% accurate.

Mahmudov is still very am style. All he is showing so far is a jab(its very good) and jab/ rigt hand. He doesnt put bis punches together...its all "one two". His defence is a bit suss especially after a few rds...his hands dropped noticeably.

He is a bit stiff and mechanical....got talent for sure but i wonder if after 300 am fights he can change it up to a more pro style?

Early days, time will tell. Even at 66, olartes can wack a bit....mahmudov showed a good
Set of whiskers. Didnt flinch when he got caught a few times.
