Since SRR, which fighter do you think resembled him most?

    And ring smarts. Mosley is smart but he doesn't and never had the adaptability of Robinson.

    Laugh if you want, but there were moments where Gatti reminded me of him.

    Certainly not in terms of strategy or ability, but just the poise and occasional bits of movement.

    Had the same impression about Shane, a, but ONLY at lightweight...'n watching him spar was shades of SRR.

    How did you think about Shane's performance against Margarito or in Vargas 2? Did he remind you of Robinson a little? You know with his speed & combinations.

    Sure the combinations were there 'n compact, t, but mostly, his killer instinct, because at the core -- getting beyond the gleaming smile 'n false modesty -- that's what SRR was: A STONE KILLER.

    Good hearing from you john, you're a great poster. Ya gotta love the way Shane came at Margarito to close the fight as he held nothing back lol. Still, you would know Robinson WAY more then I would so it's interesting for me to hear what comparisons you would make of the two.

    I can't get over how much Hearns looks like SRR against Shuler.
