    In this next decade.

What upcoming fighter / world title prospect (yet to win any kind of World title as of Septmeber 2010) will develop into the best all around and most successful fighter from Britain during this time and maybe realise their potential by becoming a proper World Class Fighter and World Champion? :think

Who is the stand out fighter right now for you - who you tip to go and and be the best out of the whole lot of them ?

    :bbb

I like Degale out of the current crop. But it's far too early to say he's gonna be a world class fighter.

I always feel skills pay bills and i think DeGale has skills as well as being at a weight(s) where there's massive bouts to be made in the future.

His personality may be like ''marmite'' as he says but all news is good news and DeGale says what he thinks and engages in war of words if needs be which gets people interested. He stated he has a head start and he does.

We have a fairly promising bunch of fighters who i feel are better equipped then the likes of Hatton etc to compete at the elite level because they are more technically sound and tactically aware which is refreshing to see. I just hope Chunky gets himself settled with weight now start to develop his own style and show people how good he can be.

Tough to say if we are talking who will be the next hatton or calzaghe etc. I think Degale has something special he has the skills and certain x factor that could make him a star and a personality even if he goes down the cocky bad guy route he could do well in America

I think Bellew Clev Brook Gavin could all be world champions but unsure about their possible longevity/dominance

Outside chances of a world title but obviously open to change atm are Ste Smith Scott Quigg there are probably more but my mind has gone blank

I have to admit I thought he was a total wanker when he first turned pro.

But "Chunky" is starting to look like he could be the business.

That's a great point Mandanda. We have some fantastic talent coming through and they all seem to be much more fundamentally sound.

One worrying thing for me is, we seem to have a lot of young fighters who don't have the frame or size to weigh up, but have shown signs which suggests that maybe they'll struggle at the weight in the future.

    James DeGale and Frankie Gavin...

Because...they're going to look even better against ambitious opponents.

I voted Cleverly. He matches up well with the big guys in his division and the Cruiserweight division also looks like it will be there for the taking in the future.
He will win titles off sheer workrate and intensity.

Frankie Gavin looks to have the potential to be great. He is a very classy boxer.

Glad you said it Slip, I feel exactly same way. It's worrying i must say. Other then that they are good to go on the fundamentally sound technicians.

Out of that one it's gotta be between Cleverly or DeGale, I gave it to Cleverly as he's bit more proven at this stage, still a few questions about DeGale

Agreed on this Gavin and Degale do not have much scope to move up in weight. Though i daresay they could hold their own skillswise they would be small men at welter and light heavy.

There is something about our fighters that means we do not move around the weights well
