Sorry lets not forget Mayweather called out Mosley and De La Hoya years before he faced them and they didn't wanna know. He also called wanted Cotto when they were at 140lbs. Top Rank turned him down.

Mayweather can legitimatley be accused off avoiding 3 men in his days at 147lbs. Margorito, Cotto and Pacquiao......any know what those 3 have in common??

I think the Shane Mosley that beat Oscar De la Hoya in the first fight is over-rated too. Oscar was fighting scared that fight. He was too inactive, not using the jab enough. He fixed that in the second fight and won comfortably (IMO anyway). I was saying this before Floyd beat Shane, I'm not saying this **** to discredit Floyd.

Why should Floyd get to ignore Top Rank fighters? You're completely inconsistent on this, Rob. Pick one approach and stick to it. If Mayweather wants to be a "great" fighter, he has to fight opponents that will test them.

What else do those three have in common? By the end of the year they'll all have fought each other. Something Mayweather wouldn't even try.

And Mayweather NEVER called out Mosley seriously. Oscar, yes - but Oscar was at middleweight when Floyd was making that noise. He never stepped up to welter like Mosley did. And it was the same for Mosley.

Mayweather “called” Shane out, but there was no offer made. And he waited until it was more or less agreed that Shane would fight Oscar. And that was the fight people wanted, not Shane versus a very talented but unknown guy like Floyd was.

Shane Mosley fought Winky-Wright, Fernando Vargas and Vernon Forrest but he was scared of Floyd.

Sorry your wrong. Mayweathers camp reached out to make a fight with Mosley a few years back and Mosley said he needed to go on holiday and get a loose tooth fixed. Well documented loook it it.

My point about them being Top Rank is that Mayweather and Arum hate hate hate HATE eachother. Do you really think Arum has done everything he can to make the fights with Mayweather???

None of those fighters are as good boxers as Mayweather.

That was when Oscar wanted a fight with Floyd. And I also recall there was more to it than that. I'd need to check, or since you made the point point me to a legit source.

Not my point. Being outboxed is hardly likely to scare the **** out of a guy like Shane Mosley. Floyd is just not intimidating as a fighter.

It would sure be interesting to see Floyd against Winky-Wright or Vernon Forrest in their prime.

If he's willing to face a much bigger southpaw with a killer jab I highly doubt he was scared of Floyd's shoulder roll.

Just becuase Mayweather isn't Mike Tyson doesn't mean he isn't feared. Mayweather makes world class fighters looks like rank amateurs. Being outboxed is exactly the sort of thing Mosley was and would be worried about.

But he wasn't worried about a 5ft 11 southpaw with skills? And then after getting his ass handed to him by said fighter he fights a rematch?

Shane Mosley was in no way scared of Floyd Mayweather which is why he had the balls to face him at 38 years old. Shane Mosley has fought everybody there is to fight, big men, small men, fast guys, power punches, people with great jabs. Unfortuntely he could only get Floyd in there when he should have been in his rocking chair smoking a pipe.

Shane's fought everyone and Floyd has fought no threats at welterweight up until Shane Mosley. So to suggest it was Mosley worried about him is nuthuggery at its finest.
