That has to be a good price, surely. QPR have only dropped two points and conceded two goals all year (in the same game of course). That's 6 clean sheets in 7 games. They're at home and averaging almost 3 goals per game this season.

Reasoning: Really surprised at the odds available for Espanyol. They were a favourite of mine at the back end of last season and dont see many reasons why we shouldn't continue to back them now.

Espanyols 2010 home record reads W-W-D-W-W-D-W-D-W-D-L-W-W-W (P14, W9, D4, L1). Only Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia and Villarreal have a better La Liga home record in 2010. They arnt the highest scorers with just 19 goals in those 14 games but they do have the best home defence with only 5 goals conceded and more home clean sheets than anyone else in Spain with 9 in 14 games. Included in that was a 0-0 draw against Barca, only the 3rd time in 77 games in the last 2 years that Barca have been shutout in a La Liga game.

So far this season Espanyol are 100% at home with a 1-0 win over Almeria and a 3-1 win over Getafe.

By contrast Osasuna's away record in 2010 is L-L-W-W-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L-L (P14, W2, D0, L12). They failed to score in 9 of those 14 games. So far this season they have lost both their away games without scoring though to be fair they were tough games against Real Madrid and Mallorca.

The combination of a strong home defence and a weak away attack looks good to me. The stats are very strong for a side priced at a best priced 2.34.

I assume part of the reason for the decent price is that Espanyol have been heavily beaten in their 2 away games so far this season - 3-0 at Real Madrid and 4-0 at Villarreal. Away to Madrid and Villarreal though is a lot different proposition than home to Osasuna. When Espanyol are home to a weak away side (one who averages less than a point per away game) their record is an impressive W-D-W-D-W-W-D-W-W-D-D-W-W-W-W (P15, W10, D5, L0).

I'd have Espanyol odds-on myself so decent value at the current price in my opinion.
