    WTF?

He is already 30 years old and is figthing 70 pounds over his natural fighting weight. He is going to have one chance and fade into obscurity.

At that age, your body really can't come back from being that overwieght. You break down your muscles and strain your heart in the process.

Solis just made a mistake... When he signed the King contract he thought he was signing a deal with Burger King, not Don King. Common mistake.

Now that's just great. King will make sure he firmly concentrates his HW hope on the only portion of the HW crown not held by the Klits, namely the WBA belt.

I think we can safely forget about seeing Solis against a K brother anytime soon.

Hopefully King can secure him some bigger fights.

    Good move in my opinion.

King will want Solis in big fights to make the dollars. At 30 yrs old Solis needs the big fights soon.

Valuev is 37 years old and King has not gotten him a *SINGLE* big fight.

I agree. Above all, this is a good move for King. Because Solis' stock is very small at this time, but his potential is large, I think King will be aggressive in getting him good fights. Solis is possibly King's ticket to returned prominence at HW.

I think the target is the WBC crown. Let's say Solis fights and wins an eliminator against Austin or another high ranked WBC fighter.

Wladmir is talking about a Spring fight with Mormeck, so it looks like Adamek will go up against Vitali in the Spring unless Haye makes a better offer. So Vitali will fight Adamek, and then presumably Valuev.

By then Vitali might opt for retirement. Or Solis can get into shape and be a threat to Vitali.

Once Solis has the WBC crown then the WBA titleholder will come calling.

I'm speculating this is the fantasy scenario.

Don King heavies don't fade into obscurity that easily. Top Rank hasn't done a damn thing with him, a couple Fox Sports cards. Top Rank doesn't care about the division, not that i blame them for that. It's best for his longevity to get with King.

Well they may have to. Solis is in position to be the mandatory for Vitali very soon. So Vitali can either deal with King or vacate the belt and Vitali is proud to be champion so I think he will deal with King.

You know how you can tell that Solis is the real deal or in the minds of K2 fans he is the real deal take a look at the post they are coming on here and saying everything they can think of to try to run down Solis he is to fat for a shot or K2 won't negotiate with King or who has he beaten or he will ask for to much money etc.........The K2 fans don't want to see Solis sure Vitali would/will be a favorite here but they can see Solis is a threat the same way they see Haye as a threat.
