I've never been a huge fan of Berto, but I'd be surprised if Davey lasted the distance.

He does look to have a fairly able jab and his movement could pose problems for some good fighters, but physically he just didn't look to be there. It was as if the slightest bit of pressure could blow him over, and his balance looked horrible. I think a heavy hitter like Berto, who has a lot snap behind his punches and is physically very strong for his weight, would probably take it to Davey and put on a beating.

I take back the part about Barrera and Ryder...I didn't really mean that. You know that. I was just mad and you didn't have my dinner ready when I got home and...

"Chuck Davey is one of the most impressive welterweights I've ever seen. He'd have given anyone a run for their money while in top shape."

Unfortunately these immortal words are contradicted by all available fight footage. Perhaps had Davey been operating during Greb's day, he'd also be routinely ranked among the top 5 P4P fighters in history. Oh dear, Addie went there. He expects a thorough ass spanking now once Greg Piter Paterson finds his way onto this thread, that 15 year old Boxing historian will have a few choice words for me, I suspect.

    I like this quote better.

    "The Icon...the legend...Winona Ryder" - Darren Aronfosky

    Would go on to say...

"I did a real crime by not using her more in this movie, I made her do 40 takes one night because I just couldn't stand to let her go because I loved working with her so much."

I think you are selling him short, he would be at least a contender.

"Winona Ryder has never won one professional fight. Check boxrec if you don't believe me."

I'm just giving my honest assessment of the footage that I have seen.
