Yah that's about 1 and a 1/2 rounds it would take for Briggs to KTFO David "Squirrel Balls" Haye. Briggs looks trim haven't seen abs or a Rib cage on him in a Decade. Could be an Upset in the making
Briggs is mad at someone else for talking ****? I have mixed feelings on both of these guys. There is no doubt that Haye has great talent and accomplishments, but there is also no doubt that he is afraid to fight the Klits, or any heavy with pulse for that matter. Briggs is the same. Props for having a great career with asthma, but there is no doubt that he had used that as a cruch, when in fact he would just rather do weights than road work. Both talk way too much **** and don't back it up. They deserve each other.
I can say this much, at least Shannon the Cannon signed the contract and wants to fight. It is more than you can say for a lot of these so called contenders like Povetkin and Haye. I love the smack talk too BUT I only love it if you back it up in the ring.
Shannon would smash Haye into next week. Although what this does highlight is the sorry state this division is in. I remember watching a fat Shannon against then rising star Jameel McCline. McCline has since turned into a journeyman and retired and Shannon got into some kind of shape looking like "Damnd" from Final Fight and is still a relavent left over from the 90's era. Sad.
