Cotto's savage, i love watchin him.

Remember though the guy he was in the first half of the Margo fight, I've never thought he's looked as good as that since

He was mercurial in the early rounds of that fight. His movement and shots were beautiful. Couldn't believe the punishment Margarito took.

Miguel is one of the very few old school fighters. He'll fight anyone, brillient resume for these modern times and what he did at 140 is underrated. Love his attitude and his approach. True warrior!

That Margarito fight still hurts me. Both guys left a lot in that fight.

Apparently his next fight will be against Cintron. I'd hate to see Miguel sustain any permanent damage. I don't really mind if he takes "easy" fights and cashes out. He's earned the right as he's the only one who's fought everybody.

I think every fan gives Miguel Cotto, out of all boxers, a massive amount of respect. It's guys like him that make me love boxing the way I do.

True warrior, and a credit to the sport.

He's never looked as good as he did in the first six rounds against Margo.

A sometimes brilliant, if flawed fighter, I'd definitely say Cotto is in the top ten of the last five years or so. His resume is stacked, and he could still get some good scalps.

He'd make Alvarez look the boy he is, still. Miguels win over Mosley was more impressive than Floyds IMO. Mosley was in better nick then.

It's kind of become assume now (on the GF anyway) because Margo got caught that he was cheating in the Cotto fight as well. But that fight was in Nevada, and (I could be wrong here) don't they have a rule where the pads and wraps are provided by the state. And the boxing commissioner from Nevada has come out and said that on the night Margarito's wrapping was, under their rules, closely watched by an official to ensure no funny business.

I don't think that Cotto got beat because of cheating.

Oh, and he still has more than enough for Kermit IMO. Late stoppage, I think Cintrons power is overrated.

Shame Hatton wouldnt fight him when they were both at 140. Hatton talked the talk but theres no way he wanted any part of Cotto.

Its not. Cintron can punch end of story. Cintron though is mentally weak.
Cotto has been in 3 wars. 2 of which he lost badly. Providing he doesnt have too much wear and tear on his clock he should be able to outbox and possible stop Cintron late. Very good fight for Puerto Rico mind you.

I wouldn't trust Nevada over that - it's not like they don't have a vested interest in keeping quiet. If they admitted such negligence, it could lead to epic lawsuits.

I'm not sure if Margo did cheat.
