It lead me to read his post the second time and this time I found the relation to my post but it was the opposite to my intention but still has relation. Maybe he did not mean exactly the elbows and when you punch on one's arms they will move . What I meant is who were the fighters that were successful at breaking their opponents arms with their own arms / elbows as a method .
You are all missing the subject of the thread. Currently the subject is breaking the opponents arms .
You mean in all of those cases you mentioned the first in each line broke the second's ? I watched a few of them and never noticed or heard anything about them in this aspect . Can you tell me more about each case ? was it intentional , legal , came as a result of striking , defending , wrestling ?
Seeing the fine subtlety involved in breaking an arm is an art son. Sort of like appreciating Carlos Monzon's hidden skill and talent. I was dumbfounded when SRL came back so soon, arm still healing n' all and beat Duran. I mean why else do you think he danced, pranced and avoided exchanges at all costs? Witness him swinging around (bolo) his inert right arm in an attempt to fool Duran it wasn't broken! Hagler, having a calcium deficiency, never recovered from the break and henceforth retired. Tyson resorted to use of the teeth to make up for the loss of one arm in his immediate rematch. Some of the others simply had extended "breaks" whilst the arm rcovered. Spinks was rumoured to be heard by some at ringside muttering "you're nothing but an an armless ****" to Holmes in the rematch.

Are you serious ? Hagler retired because of the injustice done to him at least in his own and others' opinions . Tyson bit Holyfield because Holyfield butted him (never understood why he did not use his underrated elbows against Holyfield's incoming head) Leonard fought differently because the first time his tactic did not work. And the art of breaking an arm is at least as useful as the art of hitting the body. And what are you crapping about Spinks/Holmes ? And did Hagler has a calcium deficiency ?
