Albert apparently stopped Butlin in the first round.

I'm hoping they line up Chisora next if the Waldo fight doesn't come off!!!

Should put a spoiler alert mate just in case Sky show this.

Shocked though...thought Butlin would of taken him a few rounds.

double click on the title and it normally allows you to delete and enter letters/words.

It's no biggy just thought you may get a few moans from posters on here...i think most expected Sos to win. Didn't expect a one round blow out though.

Thought Adamek-Sosnowski would have been the logical fight to make with the Polish angle, would surely be huge over there.

    Vinny Maddalone :patsch

Chisora would do Albert I think but it would be a good fight while it lasted.
    Far more realistic than Wlad:yep:good

    Maddalone?

Jesus..... the Grant fight was bad enough but understandable, this is pathetic.

The problem is the younger lads in the division don't seem to want to fight anybody.... people like Boytsov and Ustinov etc.

Agreed BB, i gave him a pass with Grant as he used him as a measuring stick for fighting the Klits height wise. But Maddalone is a **** take IMO, i get the feeling his handlers realised after the Grant fight that he's going to struggle massively at HW so they're gonna make him as much money as possible against **** opponents before he steps up and takes his defeat against anyone decent. They'd sell out that arena in New Jersey if he was fighting a ****ing heavy bag.

the thing is adamek's fought 3 12 rounders already this year, and peaked EARLY in this year with the win over arreola on HBO.

if he's already had a major test, showcased on a big stage, earning his world ranking, why is it pathetic?

4 fights a year is good for a top fighter and they don't all come vs top names. adamek was not going to get a bigger fight than arreola this year.

Although I agree that Maddalone is a **** opponent I have to say that I think he is being managed brilliantly and it is great to see a fighter stay busy, I would much rather see him take this fight then just sit out till March and I'm sure each fight at Heavyweight is a good experience for him.

I thought Haye vs Harrison was bad

That's the problem, he'll sell out an arena fighting pretty much anyone like you say.... plus TV are on board, when really they ought to be getting the red card out and telling them to sort it out and stop taking the ****.

He will struggle against the likes of Wlad, as will everybody else..... it's a sorry state of affairs when a champion has to resort to pathetically calling out challengers in a bid to get a fight, really HBO should be showcasing him as a top fighter instead of blackballing him, even though plenty of his fights are pretty ****.

I'd like Adamek to gamble and go for a Klitschko, it's alright waiting for them to be done (Vitlay already is for me) but he's no spring chicken himself. Surely it's better to lose to the best guy than beat a load of clowns and lose to someone not so good?
