How does losing one fight make either one of these guys a hype job? Both of them are still young and have tons of potential. I bet if they were both British you would be on their nuts, so stop hating.

    Exactly.

    Below answer for Henke67
Lacy post Calzaghe still had a good win over Tsypko, even if it was a hard fought close fight, After his loss to Calzaghe.
Reid although past his best wasnt shot, he had recently beaten undefeated B Magee who is now European champ and mandatory for a WBA title shot.
Manfredo had just recently been a top 10 Ring rated LHW.
Vanderpool was a world rated fighter
Pemberton wasnt a great by any means, but he was a big puncher who had shown durability in tough fights, but was blown away by Lacy in 2 rounds.

Dirrell and Ward may not fall as far as Lacy did, but they also wont have been in the ring with the greatest SMW ever either

Hopkins ran close to being put in that catagory when being put down twice and only getting a draw with Mercado, but in fairness came back and won the titles

Dirrell and Ward both have long careers ahead of them. The longer you fight all the top guys available, the quicker your "O" will go. Initial losses didn't keep Leonard , Hearns , Duran or Hagler from having Hall of Fame careers.

Its by no means nationalistic, other than the fact that both fighters are Anmerican.
How many people use the term Eurobum? Many, and do you complain about that?
This just shows how fragile a person you are, in that im quoting on an up and coming fight against to American fighters, saying the loser will be or may be deemed the next American hype job. How many fighters get called Eurobums, you guys invented the term?
I dont recall saying Maywheather should fight someone European, but if there is a good match to be made then why not. I think it must be you who is racist with that comment.
As for P Williams, I remember saying a match against Dzinziruk would be one in which id pick Dzinziruk, which many do.
    Nothing racist about that

Wrong. Ive called Froch a limited fighter before. The only real diffence is that Froch has proven himself and won away

I think America is a fabulous place, with great people.
Canada is having a great run in good fighters basing themselves in Canada, with Pascal, Bute and I D Ion

i disagree, and i think the anti american stuff is a DIRECT result of people using eurobum. but i didn't invent the term eurobum and i don't use the term eurobum. fighters need to be judged on their own merit, not their country. and imo you're being harsh cause they're american and you're reacting to anti british sentiment (which exists, you're right)

if it's a close fight between dirrel and ward, i won't call the loser a hype job.

dirrel: said it was over for froch before their meeting, but got in the ring with one of the most pathetic performances i've ever seen.he could of done a lot better, but didn't.it looked like he was just another mouth from the states.but then the abraham fight came along and he redeemed himself to a certain degree.yes, the ending was not satisfactory, but he did dominate a fighter a lot of people were calling the favourite to win the super six.abraham may not of had a great SMW resume, but he was one of the big dogs of the tournament.great win for dirrel.if he beats ward, then he's proven himself to be one of the best young fighters in the world today.

ward: beating a shot mirander ( who wasn't really a good fighter to begin with) proves nothing.kessler, who he cheated out of the title, was a disgrace.headbutts, elbow's, hitting on the break, and a ref who looked like he was bought, isn't a win in my book.had he of kept the fight clean and beat kessler, he would of got full praise from me.but he didn't.

then came green, who was an ok fighter i suppose.but he came in under weight and looked weak.that's not wards fault though.i think green was looking for a ready made excuse for why he lost.he was already beat before he got in the ring.good win for ward who dominated the whole fight.

next up is dirrell.if he he beats him in good fashion, and keeps it clean, then ward has a good future ahead of him.

i strongly disagree about kessler.he was a great fighter who had a bag full of very good wins before the calzaghe fight.he was competitive against calzaghe, who is the best SMW in history, and lost on the cards.that's nothing to be ashamed of.calling that "exposed" is just silly.two fighters get in the ring, one has to win, the other has to lose.that's just the way it is.

after calzaghe, he picks up the vacant WBA title with wins over a couple of decent fighters. ( i'll exclude perdomo, as he was a nobody) he then gets cheated by ward, but comes back with a strong win over the undefeated carl froch to take the WBC title.

that's the sign of a great fighter.

Why would I wank off to that? You must be a bit weird to suggest such a thing.
Kessler cant be that bad, his resume speaks for itself

    D Thobela former WBC champ
    JC Green former world champ
    M Siaca a world champ
A Mundine a world champ and away
    E Lucas
M Beyer 3 time WBC champ
L Andrade undefeated and unlucky not to KO Bute to some
D Sartison now a world champ
    D Haussler away
    C Froch a world champ

Tell me an active SMW with a better resume? You cant muppet
His only losses were away to the best SMW ever and away when fighting unwell and illegally headbutted.
