Murray needs to step up now. He must have the most padded record in history! He needs to get off the sunbeds and step up in class.

Put Murray in with Maidana and I can promise you they'd be calling the medics for John.

Ive seen enough Murray fights. He's a decent fighter, but he gets stopped by Ortiz and Maidana. Brandon Rios would stop him also, and so would Katsidis.

Murray would beat that bum Soto though.

True but this is terrible lol. OK I'll give it another go when it's GSP or Anderson Silva but if this is anything to go by then wow I don't think MMA is for me.

Thats why I say let him and Rios get it on. Two young, unbeaten, bangers, it'd def produce action.

But he needs to fight a QUALITY guy already. Whether ir be Rios, Ortiz. He doesnt need not ONE MORE bum to pad his record. The time to step up is now!

khan is not murray's manager and there's a time and place for that rubbish. sky panel after the fight is not the time and place.

good performance from murray, coming up nicely through the levels, domestic to euro step complete now that he's stopped a european class of opponent.

lightweight is the best bet for murray, look for an elim and force a title fight. it's not up to golden boy to decide what is best for murray. HBO are fed up of ortiz fighting old guys; this is their agenda which has made it to the sky pundit box, unfortunately.

murray has some superb infighting skills. as such, i prefer to see him matched with guys his own size, and i think some of the hard mexicans like a WBC contender or soto would be the next step.

i would hate to see murray get caught up in hard fights at light welter and missing his lightweight title shot and risking his lightweight ranking.

Very poor stoppage, if a fighter is still defending himself why stop it? Reminded me of Frampton's stoppage last week. It's like if you lose 3 rounds in a row, you could be stopped on any punch, regardless of how you are.

I'd be suspicious that they are stopping fights to make the win more impressive, to build up the prospect.

i think you're wrong calling guys like kudriavtsev, buckland, thaxton, mcallister, meager and lawton bums.

murray's had the most impressive domestic and european i've seen in a long time.

i don't see how he's padding his record. seems a typical post fight overreaxtion.

There not WORLD class opponents. Maybe they're alright at the domestic level. Hell Brandon Rios has had like 6 less fights then Murray, and just beat a WORLD CLASS fighter in Peterson.

Time for Murray to step it up. I hope the Ortiz fight gets made. Time to see what Murray has. Even though Ortiz is a *****, he still has more talent in one of his testicles than all of Murray's opposition COMBINED.

Tbf, Peterson wasn't proven world class. He had world class potential but he hadn't beaten any top 10 fighters.

Peterson is easily better then anyone Murray has fought. To say otherwise would be foolish. Stop making excuses for Murray's crap opposition.
