    I'd rank those three;

    Monzon
    Hagler
    Hopkins

    If we're includind all Middleweights, I'd place Greb and SRR ahead of Hopkins too.

    2 years prior to the Tunney V Dempsey fight Greb ran him close again, the ref having it a draw and many papers having it for Greb otherwise. Greb was also outwieghed by 10lbs.

    In terms of how good, purely how good, those three were, i'd go Monzon, Hopkins,Hagler, but I can see the exact reverse without flinching. It's very close.

    Strange that you did not have those three in that order on your middleweight survey. You had Monzon 3rd, Hagler 4th, and and Hopkins 6th.

    Nobody accomplished what these three did at middleweight division. With Ray Robinson he was past his prime he only made 2 defenses of the middleweight title were talking about guys who made 14 plus title defenses and reigned their divisions for 6-10 years. Me personally i have it 1.Monzon 2.Hopkins 3.Hagler.

    Hagler with Monzon close behind him. Hopkins is third, of the three, by quite a distance.

    I say "of the three" because of the other nominations in the thread, especially Greb. I think the top 3 is Monzon, Greb and Hagler. I'm not convinced Hopkins is top 5 on ability or resume.

    Stan Ketchel is the best of all time. I mean, he KD Jack Johnson. He was killed in the midst of his prime. Who knows what he would've done.
    Probably the hardest hitting middleweight of all time.

    I would take Hopkins in a head to head match against Hagler or Monzon, so I went with Hopkins.

    Bhop shouldnt be really in this vote.
    He never came to fight or give the public a good old tare up. He was more interested in sneeking rounds in, fighting smaller people, and crumbled when he faced an average B+ Taylor.

    Bernard never gave a good tearup? Echols 2 ring a bell? Your merely trying to shaft bernard because his reign came to an end he was 40 and many including myself felt he won the 1st fight u going on about size? Wasnt Marvin hagler forced into quitting boxing by ray leonard who cameup from welterweight?
