Has there even been a fighter like Jeff Lacy before he fought Calzaghe?

How was Lacy even better than Tavoris Cloud? He was slow, bums like Rubin Williams hit him at will, and he labored to even put two punches together. The guy looked good against bums and had heavy hands and a marketable look. Little Tyson? He didn't even move his head.

Joan Guzman, Selcuk Aydin, Yuri Gamboa, and Ruslan Chagaev have all been compared to Tyson too. So what?

Hey even Tyson struggled against other fighters too when he was moving up. Who remembers Tony Tucker?

Did that make him a fraud also?:good

You could say Calzaghe was Lacy's Holyfield.

The Douglas fight doesn't count. Since Tyson wasn't motivated and was way out of shape. Holyfield beat an in shape and motivated Tyson.

    short memories.
When Calzaghe destroyed him everyone was like " hes a bum anyway....etc...etc. "

He was not a bum its just that Calzaghe that night destroyed the man.
He could of had anyone that night. past present and future.
Check that **** out. Inside fighting outside fighting hooks uppercuts head movement speed angles and NO GLASS CHEEEN.
Damn he looks like a 168lb PACMAN.

what is also forgotten, Calzaghe was a MASSIVE betting underdog in this fight.

Right after Calzaghe took Lacy to university the cries of "ah Lacy was overrated" started.

    :yep

I still remember all the predictions of Lacy KO5 and such not just here but by the Boxing media. Many people had Lacy winning by KO in under 5 rounds and the guy went out there and literally lost every second of every round.:rofl:patsch

I remember people on here calling him a "Mini Mike Tyson" :patsch
