Yep. They just don't change position and end up getting stopped. Until hurt they usually put on a good show.
Corny maybe but how bout the finisher ? This guy never fights decisions just one in his entire career to my knowledge. Everytime he wins or loses its by violent submissions or knockout.
I wouldnt really call him an ahole hes just very confident to the put where he is fairly cocky. Frank talks **** to promote fights but hes the first guy to shake his opponets hand afterwards and say kind things about them and that includes Lesnar. Couture or Rich Franklin he is not but Frank isnt the ******* he gets made out to be.
I especially liked his great act of sportmanship when he said about Lesnar after losing to him: "I want to break his neck in the ring. I want him to be the first person that dies due to Octagon-related injuries" Yep, no a-hole. Frank Mir is class.
franks a nice guy, great fighter and quite a respectful guy for the most part. he just says dumb **** from time to time. im sure upon reflection he would admit hes put his foot in his mouth a few times.
Yeah sure he said that to hype a fight but when Brock DID get seriously sick and it looked as if he could die/never fight again Frank said that he hoped he would get better soon so they could actually fight and that he wouldn't actually wish career or life threatening injury on Brock.
i dont like mir but he actually finished a fight, which is more than can be said for the other guys on that card. plus he always fights to finish fights. give him some credit. even a broken clock is right twice a day.
