Great match up and one I never even considered tbh... and to think after Khan left Warren everyone questioned whether he could put on a decent show again.

Mitchell is rightfully favourite for this and if he can motivate himself then he should win comfortably but if he can't get himself up for Katstidis how is a supposedly shot AA going to appeal to him?

AA hasn't had any fights to interest him in a while and will know this is his last shot. I've been far from impressed with him recently but he still has plenty of skills it's just whether he can last the pace with all his weight problems.

Spot on. Last couple of times I've seen him he's looked embarrassed being so far down the undercard.

His head seems to be in a better place just now though.

Great match up though, hope it happens.

Arthur was never as good as he thought he was, he believed his own hype and came a cropper when put in with someone who hit him back hard.
Sound familiar? Other Warren fighters like Maccarinelli. Not that Arthur's chin is anywhere near as bad as Macca.
I think this thing with cherry-picking and keeping the '0' for as long as possible fighting for mickey mouse belts actually hurts the fighter in the long run, unless they're smart and humble ehough to realise they're being wrapped in cotton wool. The way Arthur and Hatton reacted to defeats suggested they was badly deluded as to their true level and then they were ****ed. An early defeat, presuming it's not a devestating one, should not do any harm at all.

anyway, Arthur has slipped a lot, but I still think he can drop Mitchell.

Truth. AA had so much smoke blown up his ass during the early stages of his career that he eventually believed he's own hype. Shame as i always thought alot of AA and liked he's fights. But the Warren route never allowed him to reach his full potential.

I am prepared Scurla, cos Alex Arthur is Alex Arthur at the end of the day...

Im a nationalist, but a realist. If the fight happens I will be cheering Arthur on, hoping that he finally shows what made him amazing as a prospect. It aint too late yet, look at Ryan Rhodes for example.

Arthur is drinking in last chance saloon, & if he cant beat Mitchell? There really is nowhere left to go. I think Arthur has one last big fight in him though, be warned!

I don't think Mitchell would have a problem outboxing Alex Arthur on recent evidence.

Arthur could see this as his last shot and pull out a top performance.
